Haemuljjim 해물찜: Steamed spicy seafood
Sauce(Tbsp):
Red pepper powder 4, fish sauce 2, soy sauce 2, oyster sauce 1, sugar 2, garlic powder 1, pepper, water 50g
ingredients:
onion, spring onion, Mung/bean sprout, mixed seafood 450g
* Wash and use seafood several times after thawing. Otherwise, it can be too salty.
** If it's too salty, add sugar
* Bean sprouts are also good.
* The more bean sprouts or bean sprouts, the better.
* I used two onions and three green onions.

No way… You forgot the green onions and you didn’t top it with bulldog sauce. I’ve never seen any kind of sauce like that with mayonnaise in it if you want to make your own bulldog sauce, there are lots of recipes online, but you definitely definitely need like a ton of green onions, chopped up in there. Actual authentic recipes from Japan usually have a grated up mountain potato in there and also tiny dried shrimp. You just need more umami the way you made it isn’t going to have nearly enough flavor. You definitely can’t forget the sprinkle of ao nori at the end and 99% of the time there’s some pickled red ginger on top as well
yeah.. because i don't have a bulldog sauce 🥺 so I made Teriyaki sauce... Maybe I should try once again with bulldog sauce!!

Thanks for your lovely comment! 🙌🏼 I understand what you mean. but you know, some foods have a history. This dish was made with sausages and spam from the US soldiers when they came to help Korea about 70 years ago. That's why it's called "Army" stew. So sausage and spam have to be the main ingredients. I also cooked it for 4 people and it is very familiar to Koreans and K-food lovers and is always one of their favorite dishes. I hope you taste this food someday. Your thoughts will be changed 😉😉😉 (or not.. 🤣)
