Insufficient render distance was always one of my gripes with minecraft. It can render beautiful worlds, but you usually experienced them like looking through a key hole. Now the door has been opened. If MS has any sense, this is exactly the direction to go in.

Sadly, Starfield is a fundamentally flawed game to it's core. Far too reliant on radiant quests and the world's you explore are empty. The story is incredibly weak and not a single character is memorable. It's not a game modders can fix. All these mods are nice for the novelty of it, but it simply doesn't change that starfield was a disappointment and an empty game. Bethesda really needs to reevaluate how much effort they put into their games because if the Elder Scrolls: VI is going to be like this, then I think they're going to be in trouble.

Starfield as a "Star Wars" game would make the game exponentially better... and yet still be a bad game. Starfield's issues aren't its Nasa-punk aesthetic, its the loading screens, traversal, the endless meaningless time wasting tasks, the mediocre story, and the insane number of bugs. Making it Star Wars themed only improves the coat of paint on the rotted and collapsing frame.

No one is going to see your story. They're going to rip out the pages and make paper airplanes. Gamers want a space game with U̶n̶i̶q̶u̶e̶ s̶t̶o̶r̶y̶, U̶n̶i̶q̶u̶e̶ s̶e̶t̶t̶i̶n̶g̶, U̶n̶i̶q̶u̶e̶ l̶o̶r̶e̶ just Star wars for the 578th time.

eh, with the main new starwars movies, breaking spacebattles, shitty writing, and turning lightsabers into glowingbats. my starwars interest died long time ago. I envy those who still can enjoy starwars. but good for my wallet though, since disney deleted my urge to buy any legostarwars kits xD

Is it going in the right direction? Yes. Is it good? Absolutely not, performance and bugs are unacceptable at this point.

This would be perfect if I wasn't allowed to leave the house. It's interesting from a technical viewpoint, being able to improve/augment a game's visuals so much. What surprises me is how this even matters so much to so many people. Old Morrowind graphics are good enough imho, as long as the gameplay and the story works to my liking. Having even more leaves and other particles floating on the screen just seems so irrelevant. But to each their own i suppose.

haven't bought a battlefield since 1 and to be honest anything after battlefield 4 was a major disaster and disappointment so probably wolnt buy it they would have to do some major improvements before I even think about it

This is absolutely better than Tarkov even if Tark wasn't imploding. More items and quests do not make abetter game. Framerate, clean gunfights, few cheaters, no bitcoin farm (which defeated the purpose of playing), in-game maps so your friends actually want to play, etc. It is a less tedious, yet sometimes actually more hardcore version of Tarkov. Every single map has multiple difficulties so anyone can play on whatever risk level they feel comfortable with. I could debate about half of the criticisms LevelCap had in the video, but no one wants all that in a random comment. I also think he'd change his mind on a few things if he had just played a little bit more (like how quests definitely stop giving out that much money pretty quickly) Oh yeah, and it actually makes sense to team up with friends in this game, unlike Tark where almost everyone runs solo.
