Beautiful route i would love to take the train to Edinburgh someday. My favorite routes are Seattle to Vancouver BC (stunning route along Puget Sound), and Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, through the starkly beautiful Judean hills.

A total ignoramus question. With the hives so close together, do the bees just ignore each other/ accept each other? What if a collector ventures into the wrong hive?

Love your videos. Makes me smile every time. We're currently sitting next to an open fire on Lake Coolmunda, Inglewood , Queensland, where we are camping. Is marmalade and honey shipment OK to Australia? I know it was a problem in the past.

This is a great presentation, being a beekeeper is both a lesson in hard work when you rob the hives and a lesson in nature, knowing how to look after your bees in the winter, how much food to leave then when they cannot leave the hives. Along with all of this is learning about these amazing insects and their impact on you as a beekeeper and on the natural world. you are doing a sterling job with your apiary but consider the possibility of more work as your hives expand. My family started with five hives and within five years we had twenty hives, and, in the end, we had 300 which meant a lot of travelling with the hives to chase their food in the Australian forests.

I always got that job when we had a caravan. Tip, if you have a flush tank, put cheap fabric conditioner in, it stops the smell every time you flush

Honey taste...yes! We live on the coast of Maine (usa) and the blueberry honey is definitely distinctive in flavor.
