I had a meniscus tear in my left knee; I got it fixed and had to take some time off from work while it healed. The Sports Doctor did a right fine job! TM long time viewer.
Sherlock's new home is so well-thought-out and built so damn well there is no question he is well looked after. He will live a long and happy life. Shaun, my friend, I wish you a quick recovery! I'm so sorry you're in pain.

Oh Sean, I’ve also got a meniscal tear .... six months along and it’s getting there - I have days with no pain where I can do anything, the days when it’s really stiff and painful - but it’s slowly getting better. Hope you mend well

I know what you're suffering Shaun, as my left knee has been the same as yours for the best part of a year now.
But it has just started to heal and I can walk, without my stick, {but it's better with the stick !}.

Cor blimey! I can't even hang a picture without it being a disaster! My only Owl story is once I was driving home along a back lane when I used to live in a more rural village than where I live now, and something in a tree to the right of me caught my eye. I slowed and opened my window to look! Three wise owls were looking back at me, perhaps more startled than I was to see them! It was one of those magic moments in life, absolutely beautiful to see! ( I have just heard the bit about owls being solitary! With my hand on my heart, three owls were on a couple of branches, just looking back at me! Maybe it was mating season, I do not know!)

What do you feed Sherlock on and how often? Are you planning on to have a vegetable/flower garden?
1. Chicks, mice, voles, rats, quail.
2. Every day.
3. No. The deer will eat them. Before you ask, to protect the veg would make it inefficient ;)
