Problem with the young Earth interpretations of the Bible is in Genesis 1 the word Earth translated from the Hebrew can also be translated as soil ground dirt and countryside but it cannot be translated as the planet Earth or the sphere of Earth. Does compare the Hebrew word as is used elsewhere in the Bible and you'll see it's used mostly for ground soil and countryside. And the word create signifies a formation from pre-existing material again compared to the Hebrew original word that is used elsewhere in the Bible. Then if you compare Genesis chapter 1 verse 1 the Genesis chapter 2 verse 2 you'll see those two versus parallel each other. Genesis 1 is a poem not a historical account. Parallelism is used throughout the Bible.

It’s dangerous to teach that the Bible is only a book of facts. There are too many Hebrew parables! Jesus Himself spoke in parables. Why should we limit His word to Historical facts? Of course it does no harm to read the Bible literally, but when you try to debate science with this generation it distracts them from the truth of Christ which is where this generation needs to be. They’ve been raised by science in schools. Let them have their knowledge, but add to it the knowledge of our Savior.

Marco Polo, a thirteenth century explorer tell about his witnessing dragons in Cafe ...Modern day China in the late 1200s. Polo's description is as follows from Chapter XL of the Thomas Wright translation ("On the province of Karazan"): "Here are seen huge serpents, ten paces in length, and ten spans in the girt of the body. At the fore−part, near the head, they have two short legs, having three claws like those of a tiger, with eyes larger than a fourpenny loaf (pane da quattro denari) and very glaring. Polo then mentions how these "serpents" live in caverns, and drag themselves to bodies of water ("to drink"). Polo then gives a very detailed account of how they were supposedly hunted, the medicinal uses of its gall bladder, how highly esteemed the meat was, and then...moves on to horses. No mention of pets that I see.

I appreciate the testimony of where you have come from, however when you say we are all sinners raising sinners, that is against Biblical TRUTH. When I became converted unto the Lord and His ways, (born again of water and Spirit) I became a saint, which the Bible clearly says is anyone that is living a sanctified life. Does that mean that I never do anything wrong, no, however I am one of Jesus's sisters, and a child of my heavenly father and he cannot accept sin. To call anyone a sinner after one becomes converted is wrong.

Measurements are taken using completely different radioactive nuclei to corroborate the dating and ensure there is no contamination skewing the measurement. Proper analysis relies on the concordance of evidence and not merely one factor. Examination of only one variable creates inappropriate confidence or doubt. 3. Rates have changed over time. Ensuring that the laws of physics behaved in the past as they behave now is a high probability and fits many calculations that have been tested. I suppose the splitting of the atom would still have occurred given all the radically observed variation as described by the speaker. #3 has to do all the lifting for this argument. But it is a "Get out of logic free" card.

I do believe some races are biologically better on average than others in particular things (not in general like that white is better than black or black is better than white just that some are physically better and others have an intellectual advantage because its obvious we all just Arent the same people as much as the world wants to act like we all are the same we are different and thats alright it doesnt mean someone is better as a human being just on paper like with animals their advantages and disadvantages)

The thing that I find interesting is those tribes that migrated south from Canada. Would that have been during the time Leif Erickson ( a Norse explorer) had founded settlements in North America. From Norse accounts, ( circa1000 AD) we find that that the climate in north eastern Canada was warm enough to grow grapes . ...making it a perfect climate for "native Americans" to live in. I am curious if some of those native migrations may have been the result of clashes between those tribes and the Norse. I wounder if there is any genetic links found with the Norse as I have read elsewhere that they migrated as far southwest as what is today Minnesota. Apparently the Norse ultimately abandoned their North American settlements.

You are seeing back in time when looking at objects far away because the light of its present self has not yet reached your eyes. The sun itself when you look at it is 8 minutes old. When you misrepresent things like this I have a hard time taking you seriously.

I have seen fish dying from eating fish they could not swallow or dislodge. I have seen animals try and give birth and die with only partial presentation.

I have listened to this with a heavy heart. The fact is, according to you,there was no way I could help my son. I was a single parent, not an easy choice, but a necessary one. So he had no father. I had to work, so there was no way I could home school him. I respect the point of view, but there are many Christian parents like me who could never implement you three-legged stool. This talk is devastating to people like us.

He’s right about everything but the shape of the earth. Diligently look into it. Ask yourself, “why do I believe I live on a spinning water ball in space?” Is it because of the moon landing? Or maybe the pictures we were shown? Could those people have deceived us? Have they been proven to be liars, and have they sworn oaths to never reveal what they know to the vulgar masses? I recommend reading your Bible with new eyes after asking Yah to reveal the truth, because it is hidden from us. Pay attention to how many times and in what contexts it talks about the concept of a stationary earth that cannot be moved, with multiple heavens and a firmament above. Can the Sun stop moving in the sky if we’re spinning? I mean without everything dying. Can you flood a ball? No, but you can a snow globe. Did the Tower of Babel swing around like a bat? Or how about Jacobs ladder with angels ascending and descending? Why does Polaris never move, or the constellations never change? You know what parallax is, right? Why do rockets TRULY curve instead of going straight up? Why can we see too far? By the time you find the answers to these questions, you will have many more. However, you will know that you don’t live on what you’ve been told.
