I met Dr. Snelling at a conference in Pittsburg and one in Redcliffe Australia. The important work he is doing at The Grand Canyon should shatter the prevailing paradigm for anyone that actually wants to know the truth and searches for it like treasure. No one is allowed to remove material from State or Federal Parks because doing so slowly destroys the parks and ruins the experience for future visitors. It has nothing to do with creationism and everything to do with preserving the features for future generations to study and enjoy.

I love the location in which this study goes over. I love God and his Word even more. I cannot wait to watch part two. The points and arguments stated in this are very well formed and easy to understand. I'm a rock hound and love fossils as are my kids. So I love how as a result of the flood there billions of sea life fossil layers all over the earth. Only the flood can account for that. Glad you pursued to get the permits for your study. For example, there are whole upright trees completely buried. If they were buried over millions of years, they believe that without ever wondering why the exposed tree didn't decay over millions of years.

Noah’s flood is proven all over the world by not just the discoveries found in rock but also through fossils.
If bones of animals were to fossilize they are unable to do it on the surface for long periods of time. If the dinosaurs were killed by a meteor and cold climates as a result of the meteor hitting the Earth and the climate effects of it, the dinosaurs that are dead on the surface would just decompose and disappear instead. There are many people who do not know this but bones decompose, definitely not as fast as flesh, but they do. Organisms can not fossilize while being on the surface because they would be gone long before they could fossilize, but the only way organisms are to fossilize is if they are quickly buried and pressed down by the rock and sediments on top and by the sediments and rock underneath. This also disproves evolution. After the meteor struck, the bones of the dinosaurs would decompose.
If dinosaurs evolved into chickens, wouldn’t that be de-evolution? Chickens and birds are a lot less complex than the Tyrannosaurus and other dinosaurs, and they are much smaller while there are larger birds like the ostrich and birds that have gone extinct. Birds and chickens are also omnivores because they both eat bugs and seeds, but the tyrannosaurus eats meat while plant eating dinosaurs eat, well heh, the greens of the plants. Why would a dinosaur have the need to evolve into something that is of completely different species and species that are so much smaller than they are when they already have complex and already-effective abilities to survive that do not need changing? That does not make any sense. Organisms can’t evolve, because they have no need to. Instead, they adapt to help them survive in different environments, and I find that very cool!
We human beings are the same way, we also adapt.
But it’s funny that you believe the flood as fallible because it is not a fallible fable but it is ingrained into the rock layers and formations. There are marine animal fossils found on mountain tops. Also rocks just can’t bend without breaking and it’s funny you don’t see that, sediments and mud can bend and condense together before hardening to become hard rock. But I don’t discount molten rock that hardens. I posted my comment on the 8:13 minute mark of the video before you did and I don’t think you even watched the video or seen it all because it is over 1 hour long or maybe you want to believe what you think is the truth because it is what man has told you. People are fallible. I’ve seen multiple videos just like this one before and you’re telling me that Noah’s flood is a farce when there is clear evidence everywhere. I used to believe in evolution because I was taught about in a public school in text books instead of looking at things in greater detail. Even I can question my own beliefs if they are true or not. Maybe if you set an open mind and question what you are told by secular scientists, maybe you’d understand.

The Big Bang argues that the universe came from nothing. Physics denies that matter can come from nothing. Unless you want to go with the argument that “let there be light” and the Big Bang were like the inverse of a black hole. Spraying the base elements for the construction of all 3 dimensional matter throughout empty space. That’s just the beginning, now let’s go to the argument of evolution and life coming from non-life. The life coming from non-life argument is called the “primordial soup” argument. Basically stating that all biological life began as a soup of biological matter that began to take structure (still not even a vague theory on how that could happen) into various forms of life. The issue with this argument is that we have no actual evidence that life itself can come from non-life. All organic life down to microorganisms come from previously established independent organic life.

@@BDRob1583 Rocks are not concrete, which is a specific mixture of minerals that undergo a chemical reaciton to make them go solid. Rock is rock, it DOES become pliable if it was ignious and molten - but not wet.

The first time I went to the canyon, 1985, there was a museum there with a display which I took a photograph of; “ The birth of a canyon; for many ages we have pondered the question of how the Grand Canyon was formed. The answer still eludes us. This ERTS photograph taken 570 miles above the Earth clearly shows that the Colorado river and its Canyon bisect a huge hill; water and rivers normally run around hills - not through them. Why did this not happen here?”

In Utah, you can see such things all over the place as well. I loved going through certain areas in Utah watching the changes as my parents drove me to different places there. Then going to the Grand Canyon with family and later friends doing the same thing.
Yes, all of that area is stunning . The Utah layers are Mesozoic, and therefore younger than the Grand Canyon's Paleozoic layers.

This top layer, while still in place, held back ancient Lake Claron which was conjectured to be 250 miles long, 75 miles wide ( bigger than Lake Erie, one of the largest lakes on earth), and who knows how deep. When THAT dam broke, the Grand Canyon would be the leftover runoff at the bottom. All this happens after the Noahic Deluge. In actuality, we all live on the bottom of a dried out ocean bottom and the valleys and mountains that do impress you are nothing but dried mud. Sorry.

Lava flowed freely from Mt St Helens. It was on camera. Then later hardened. Samples were taken which still later on were identified as being over 30 million year old rock. Rock that formed in the 1980's.

If millions of years was true, then old-earth geologists are responsible for explaining where billions of toms of sediment even came from over the course of the 450 million years during which they say all the layers were laid down. They also must explain why, if the Colorado River carved Grand Canyon out, where is the sedimentary river delta at the Pacific coast? My favorite debunking fact is that where the Colorado River comes out of Lake Powell is hundreds of feet lower than the top of the Kaibab Plateau over which the river would have had to start flowing in order to start carving out the canyon, meaning that the river would have to have flowed uphill to get to the top of the plateau in the first place.

1. Sediment comes from erosion as part of the geologic rock cycle. That's Geology 101.
2. Sediment from the Colorado River forms a huge delta in the Gulf of California off the coast of northern Baja, Mexico.
3. The Colorado river downcut the GC while the Colorado Plateau was rising. At no time did the river ever have to flow uphill. That is still one of the dumbest creationist claims out there and there's lots of competition.

Not to mention the clean separation lines in between layers, its pretty obvious theses were laid down nearly simultaneously over the course of weeks or months after the flood waters receded.

While we do not observe this slow and gradual process happening anywhere in the world, we do see other geologic signatures of major water run off.

The sediment "huge delta in the Gulf of California" is not nearly huge enough to account for the amount of sediment that has been sheared off of the Colorado Plateau. But think about it, if the Colorado river produced the grand canyon over millions of years as the uplift happened, explain how there was NO EROSION for 100's of millions of years to produce the layers that the colorado river eroded? It still does not work. How do you make layers, some over 500 ft thick that go for thousands of square miles stacked on top of each other and then claim current erosion carved out the landscape. This is a logical disconnect. The very erosion you are talking about would also have to destroy the layers you are eroding if they were produced over time. Surly you can see this does not work.

Even in bent strata, we see uniform spacing between layers. The ONLY way that could happen is if they were ALL (layers) uniformly lain consistently relatively flat (according to the uniform pull of gravity on a sphere) in relation to each other, while still hydrated, are simultaneously bent.

We visited the Grand Canyon last year for the first time and it was amazing. Pictures and video do not do it justice on the scale.

Concrete will remain plastic and workable as long as vibration is applied. Within one minute of the cement mixer stopping the Ancient tertiary river bed gravel will setup in the mixer and stick to the bottom, faster than concrete.

Creation scientists, however, look at the layers in the earth and think they are better explained by the events recorded in the Bible. As a result, they think the geologic column represents only thousands of years of earth history.
Although they disagree about time, conventional and creation geologists do agree that the geologic column can be divided into four major divisions. Those divisions are referred to as the Precambrian (lowest/oldest), the Paleozoic, the Mesozoic, and the Cenozoic (highest/youngest).
The geologic column is complex. Nevertheless, we can use the events and timeline recorded in Genesis to help us figure out when the various layers were formed.

The Grand canyon walls are Paleozoic. They were deposited over 300 million years. And the divisions are based on paleontology, not geology.

I am so amazed how the proof is discovered and Biblical accounts are proven. How unbelievers want to squash it as if to say if they can stop the truth then GOD and HIS Words in the bible are not true. Just because you hid or ignore a truth does not make it untrue. They will know the Truth one day when they pass from this world then the TRUTH will be without a doubt in their faces. Thank you for all the work you do to reveal the Truth.

Isaiah 13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.

I have huge expectations from the (honest) science to reveal God's truth about material world in the years to come. I pray God will raise brothers and sisters in the science field to stand for the truth.
