Interesting idea. I feel the Koran is but a plagiarized version of the Bible. I have ideas about Islam but then we all have free will and who am I to judge anyone? Muslims believe they are correct and all the rest of us are doomed. We believe the same. Yeshua said that only a remnant would ever pass through the gates of Heaven. Quite a sobering thought brothers? Always remember, that quoting a scripture is fine and good, but be careful that one must understand the context of said scripture. All scripture has context. Also keep in mind, that the Jewish followers of Yeshua did not consider that they were converted. These Jews were waiting for the Messiah as the prophets of the Old Testament had described. Only the Gentiles were converted. Yeshua brought a new way of understanding the commands of our Creator.

Luke 23:55 says that the women saw where and how they laid the body of Jesus in the tomb. The next morning the women did NOT go to the wrong tomb because they saw where it was. Just thought I would point that out. Very good presentation as always. Thanks.
Jesus head covering was folded neatly in the tomb. When the master of the house was not done eating he would fold his napkin neatly and place it on the table. Signifying he would be back.
The head covering is still around and can be viewed today, in fact. It is the Sudarium of Oviedo, or Shroud of Oviedo. Look it up

"Good Friday" isn't Biblical.
Resurrection came 4 days after Passover; crucifixion and burial wasn't on a Friday, but on the "day of preparation" before the sabbath days. Easter is a decoy holiday (like "indigenous peoples' day" instead of Thanksgiving) to detract attention from the Messiah's fulfillment of the Jewish Passover. If you have eaten a Passover celebration, then you understand the meaning of why Jesus is called the "Lamb of God."

I think the conversion of Paul is stronger evidence, because he was a persecutor and unbeliever, but became convinced that Christ was risen and appeared to him.
People have epiphanies all the time. And evidence of being tortured and killed, if that even happened, proves nothing but a belief. It doesn’t prove that belief is true. Remember 9/11?

Paul was not predisposed to believe in the resurrection, but claimed to have had an appearance, then was persecuted and beheaded in Rome, around AD 64.
@@NightShade671 Again, the issue is that nothing supports that outside the Bible. True, if the biblical accounts could be confirmed, it would likely have happened. But no one witnessed Paul's supposed encounter-not even one person. And with all of the politics and mistransliterations that have occurred over the centuries, along with no sanctification of the bible by God or Jesus, just who was telling these stories? The writings weren't even "penned" until several decades later. And the actual writings are nowhere to be found. Sure, it is a nice story to believe and makes you feel good, but is it accurate? Is it true? It surely is flimsy for such a decisive instrument, deciding an eternal future.

It is universally believed by these scholars today that Paul converted to the faith, due to his belief in an appearance of the risen Christ. All the minimal facts are conceded by critical scholars. Also, it's an Ad Hominem fallacy and Genetic fallacy to reject the claim since it is in the Bible. The New Testament is a collection of Greek documents, written by eye-witnesses of Christ and people who knew the eye-witnesses. Read "The Case For the Resurrection of Jesus," by Habermas and Licona.

The real problem is a complete lack of evidence for the claims of the bible. The "believe or else" threat that you quote might persuade some people to pretend that they believe but I need evidence so I don't believe. If your god exists and condemns me to hell for the critical thinking brain that he gave me then so be it. Hardly fair is it but not much I can do about it. I can't choose what I believe and I'm not going to pretend either. I either believe something, or I don't. Evidence is what matters.

Great video! But why are many Christians still celebrating the resurrection of Jesus during "Easter", when the anniversary of His resurrection is during the week of passover and the feast of unleavened bread,, which is not until next month?

In a cosmic evolutionary paradigm scientists were so stumped by just how precisely our universe is fine tuned for life to be possible, with some constants that if they were but a fraction different one way or the other life would not have been possible, so they came up with the multiverse claiming there are an infinite number of them and we just happened to get one where all of the constants were just right for life to be possible...can you show me another universe, just one will do? They say the multiverse is real and we need to deal with it, is that science or conjecture because they need it to explain away just how very fine tuned our universe is, begging the question of a fine tuner.

My two favorite atheists turned Christian after trying to prove the Bible untrue are Lee Strobel, Investigative Journalist, and one they left off their list, J Warner Wallace, Cold Case Homicide Detective. You can't get more thorough investigations than from those two guys.
Another one was co founder of Harvard law School, Professor Simon Greenleaf.
He wrote a famous book after examining the Gospels under the rules of evidence in a court of law, called Testimony of the Evangelists.
His conclusion is that the Gospels accounts are true and he converted to Christianity.
A negative cannot be proven. What can be proven is that no one knows who wrote the books of the Bible and the original writings are long lost. And the books greatly conflict with each other. Belief or not, that is true.

I think some folk will never believe in Jesus and the Ressurection, whatever arguments, evidence, artwork, books, buildings, archaeologically discovered artefacts and places, martyrdom and persecution of believers who refused to renounce Jesus down the ages to the present, so whilst I appreciate this video, I now no longer argue with those who refuse to believe, their choice is made, and as Jesus said you need to "shake the dust from your shoes" and leave them. If all the claims in support of the Ressurection and life and death of Jesus are true such folk are still subject to the Judgement of God, on their own.

Not sure why an eye witness accounts in the Bible is dismissed as fable when other eyewitness accounts in history are regarded as historical fact!

But even if you could disprove evolution (which you can't) it would be absolutely no reason to start to believe in a god.
Just want to throw this in there but recent dna studies have proven that we are not related to any other mammal on the earth. If we have no connection biologically to any other mammal; where did we come from? The next interesting part is that; within dna is a coding that says in the first 3 known languages of man - 'God eternal within the body'.

Jesus was sacrificed for our sins and got resurrected. There's nothing in the Bible stating that He didn't die. Only our God and Savior had done this and you can't accept it

Interesting that he doesn't cover the most obvious challenge to the resurrection story......which is that it's just a story in the bible and never happened. That's not to say that someone called Jesus didn't exist, or that he wasn't an inspirational preacher, or that people didn't genuinely and sincerely believe that he was the Messiah, or that Jesus wasn't crucified. It's even not necessarily to say that those that followed him didn't claim that he had risen from the dead. It's to say that it didn't actually happen and is either a sincerely believed but mistaken interpretation of what happened, or is simply an invented story. Let's simply think what's more likely, that a) some people sincerely believed something but that they were mistaken or b) some people invented the story for whatever reason or c) a person actually rose from the dead and there is no corroborative record of it anywhere.

I don't care what traditional Christians believe as they have free will. However, this idea that Yeshua was crucified on Friday and resurrected on Sunday does not add up. The bible clearly describes his time as 3 days and 3 nights buried. Keep in mind Yeshua was Jewish as were all the apostles. Therefore, a day begins at sundown and ends at sundown. Yeshua was arrested and crucified on Passover. He died around 3 PM on Passover. John pleaded to remove Yeshua from the cross and bury him before the high Holy day of First Fruits which would begin that same day of crucifixion at sundown. Passover began on Tuesday night at sundown. Yeshua passes away at 3 PM Wednesday (still Passover). Buried. Wednesday sundown to Thursday sundown is one night and one day. Thursday sundown to Friday sundown is two nights and two days. Friday sundown to Saturday Sundown is 3 nights and 3 days. Saturday at sundown begins the first day of the week Sunday the day he was discovered gone from his tomb. This all adds up to 3 days and 3 nights. The New Testament is but a continuation of the Old Testament. Yeshua died for our sins. One must believe in this fact and walk out the commandments of the Old Testament as Yeshua did. Don't think that since Yeshua died for our sins we can live as we would like. The Bible was written by Jews, Yeshua was a Jew as were all the apostles. The Jewish people have been maintained through the centuries as those who would bring us to our Creator: Abrahamic covenant. One must both believe in the Messiah and live as the Messiah. Knowing this is impossible, one must pray for forgiveness every second of every day. You will know when you have been saved. Peace will overpower one like one has never experienced. Everything that one treasures (inanimate objects) will no longer matter. These are my views. I was a kind of believer a so-called Christian believing as many do, that doing good moral acts will give me a pass into Heaven. I was baptized by a Jewish Rabbi on Shabbat when everything changed. Works alone are a death sentence. One must accept the Holy Spirit gifted by Yeshua dying for us. which is the power that gives one the ability to walk out of the Old Testament commandments. Yeshua kept all of our Creator's commandments.
Which all boils down to some ancient stories. That's it, that's all the useful evidence there is. Granted apologists do whatever they can to make it seem like it's more, but it's not. What would it take for me to believe someone rose from the dead? Well, we can start with something significantly more impressive than two thousand year old stories. Although if that could be provided, naturally advocates would have presented it by now and they haven't, which doesn't bode well.

What about someone that might have been there writing this and not someone doing so many years later? Pointing to this is so very silly as much of the information in these texts is known to be created and unsupported by the historians of the time and this is simply one that people fight harder for as it is essential to their world view. Also bodies were never removed from the cross as it was illegal and they were meant to stay on the cross until eaten by the birds. This is history that again isn't mentioned.

@@faith-hearted1449 If he was condemned to be crucified under Roman rule, his body wouldn't be allowed to be taken down the same day he died. Leaving them on the cross (or a pole) was part of the punishment (of not getting a proper burial), and a stark reminder for others who were even contemplating of transgessing Roman rule. Their bodies would remain there until they decomposed or were eaten by animals.

Why not a single eyewitness who says "I have seen the the risen J"? No reports outside the bible in the first century and even the gospel of Matthew was written 50 years after the crucifiction.
We have evidence of Matthew Luke and Mark circulating within 50 years, not written 50 years after. There are various church bodies that have kept accurate history of the early church including artifacts.

In circulation means there were multiple copies at different places. These were often written on the cheapest pieces of medium possible (papyrus) which meant they did not survive time.
There were over 500 people who witnessed Jesus alive and spread the gospel during their lives. That's why Christianity spread. If each of them recorded their testimony on Jesus, the book would be the largest in the world and would certainly be target #1 by enemies of Jesus. Many of these people were martyred for their statements anyway but we know they lived from the time of resurrection through late first century as Paul mentions them.
Some church organizations have kept great records of early church history, including notable outside figures who were later converted. It was a Pope who helped save the sacking of Rome once.
Josephus Flavius, Clement of Rome, Thallus, etc. Yeah extrabiblical sources from 50 AD - 100 AD are plentiful. Even more if you expand to 120-180 AD. Keep trying though.
