But evolutionary theories don't bring you new knowledge, they are just people's imagination, made up stories! Yet the bible teaches us a whole lot of new things. As the months and years pass by, reading the Bible opens up your mind and perspective on 100's of issues and topics! It would be foolish to think that by reading the Bible once, you can understand the entire knowledge of God! This being (God) created us, He is extremely more knowledgeable than His creation (humans). You, by believing that the only thing real is material, are very close minded. Here in Montana (and in every other state across the country) voters have failed to do their research on candidates for judge. Whenever I point this out people say, "How can we? Because judges run without party affiliation." To start out, I think we need more focus on these elections. We need conservative voter guides in every state that document how the judges have ruled in various court cases as well as any partisan political donations in the past. These voter guides exist but aren't easy to find (thanks in part to big tech shadow banning) and we need to be better organized to get this information in front of people.

Like the viability of these "in between" systems, and how they could persist long enough to get to a completely different system without being wiped out. These pseudo systems aren't generally as good for survival as their predecessors or their supposed completed product, and would struggle to survive let alone find a compatible mating partner. Yet evolutionists will often respond with something like "well we see these differentiations today don't we? As I'm sure you know already, most small dinosaurs evolved light, air-filled bones. If you don't need solid bones for rigid support - because you're a 30 tonne Diplodocus, then light bones provide great structural support without the penalty of weight. This makes you faster and better able to catch lunch. Your light boned offspring survive and out compete your heavier boned chums. If this gives you an advantage, it does not necessarily take "millions of years" for evolution to fast track a good idea. The dinosaurs had over 160 million years to explore many avenues for survival, that's why some weighed 50 tonnes, where 15 meters tall, were warm blooded, could survive in the Antarctic and some evolved feathers and flew.......time is a great healer, and brilliant at evolving life, and as a planet we've been lucky enough to have over 4 billion years of it 👨‍🎓

    To offer an alternative biblical viewpoint: Neanderthals were known to make bone-flutes, are believed by many to have been shaggy/hairy, and they had penile sheaths (like a dog). As noted by top cryptozoologists, this is an excellent match with descriptions of satyrs, who were originally depicted simply as shaggy wildmen, but later portrayed as goat-men. The word translated as 'satyr' in the Bible is 'seirim' meaning "shaggy ones". Ultimately, satyrs were known to play pan-pipes, were shaggy like goats, and they were depicted in artwork as ithyphallic (due to the penile sheaths). In the Bible, they were used as sacrificial offerings, something which explains their extinction (as opposed to them not being able to hunt rabbits, according to scientists).

They were humans formed complex social interactions, buried their dead, used tools, played musical instruments etc. the differences In anatomy can be explained away by the environments they lived in and also perhaps even the age they lived to be there's nothing so drastic as to conclude it's a different kind of humanoid species altogether that is absurd.

Life does not and can not arise from spontaneous combustion. I’d advise you to look up Louis Pasteur and his theory of biogenesis. Also, refrain from using absolutes; you have no idea what we as creationists can disprove, as you don’t understand any arguments postulated by creation scientists. Everything you think you know has already been debunked. Evolution and the Big Bang are both laughable at best and completely dismissible at worst. I don't know what's worse the fact you believe in abiogenesis in the modern era or the fact you're still so brainwashed to believe a knuckle walking tree swinging ape that died after it fell from a tree was close to making the transition into being human and all this even though, we know scientists can't accurately determine transitional forms in fossils. They misclassify them all the time, even in organisms, which we can directly observe. Whales are the most well-known example. Do me a favor and read a paper written sometime this decade.

Scientists tell those who don't think for themselves, what they want to believe, not what the scientific method shows to be the right conclusions and direction to follow where the evidence leads. Scientific evidence points to a causal agent outside of energy, matter, space and time for the creation of any universe like ours! That's what the latest Spacetime Theorems confirm. The Bible stated that thousands of years ago. And all scientific and archaeological discoveries are proving the accuracy of the Bible on a monthly basis in our lifetime! 1. There's nothing in the 2LoT which prevents natural processes from *locally* reducing entropy (i.e creating more ordered things) as long as the *overall* system entropy still increases. We see this happening in endothermic chemical reactions where external energy makes complex molecules by combining simpler molecules. Photosynthesis which powers virtually all life is an endothermic chemical reaction.
      2.The Earth isn't a closed system. There's this thing called *the sun* supplying the Earth with an incredibly huge amount of external energy every second and has been for billions of years. The entropy of the Sun/Earth system is slowly increasing but the huge amount of energy from the sun powers the evolution of more complex life on Earth with plenty to spare.

    Furthermore, many fossils are incomplete, and many are inconsistent with evolutionary theory (the Cambrian explosion is a perfect example).

    It's just that there are so many fascinating aspects to these discussions- and new questions and discoveries add fuel to the fire of both camps. I do admit to having questions about the hundreds of millions / billions arguments though. Lately I cant wrap my head around:
    Moon laser measurements say the moon is moving away from the earth at a rate of 3.78 CM per year. Multiply that by a Billion.
    or two. A moon that close to the earth a million years ago would present a problem? How about a billion?
    What about the collagen and hemoglobin found in dinosaur bones? What about depictions of dinosaurs in carvings, pottery, etc?
    I guess one thing that does not work for me is uniformitarianism- many of our assumptions about constants must not be correct.

    • @settledown444
      @settledown444 Před 7 měsíci +2

      The moon's recession is caused by tidal drag of the Earth's oceans against the continents. Earth's continents have been moving and being rearranged over the last 4 billion years by plate tectonics. The current recession rate of 3.78 cm/yr is not constant but has varied greatly over time as the continents shifted. If you do the math and calculate the historic recession rate it comes out to average a bit less than 2 cm/yr. At that average rate the moon was formed approx. 4.5 billion years ago exactly in line with the radiometric data.
      The tiny amount of original organics found in dinosaur fossils were permineralized. A mechanism has been identified which allowed for their preservation by having their proteins cross-linked with iron molecules. The finds were really amazing but do nothing to cast any doubt on the age of the specimens.
      Humans have drawn lots of imagined creatures on pottery, cave walls, etc. A few of them superficially resemble known dinosaurs. Most of them don't but the creationists will never talk about those.

      Uniformitarianism can be an inconvenient thing- those dating systems that give the age of objects use the assumption of constant decay (which is an unobserved assumption), but when the subject of lunar recession comes up, everyone scrambles to say that this recession is not constant and must vary, obviously because of the implications of 3.8CM of annual recession and its cataclysmic implications on the earth over even millions of years. Much less billions.
      The Dino art is real, and what was depicted by the ancients is clear- they were depicting what they saw.

    Very interesting to see Creationists try to justify their belief systems. We don't know anything for certain. One can believe in God and creation, but also believe in God using evolution and a longer time frame than creationists want to allow for. It is called Cognitive Dissonance no matter what one believes, but the Ken Ham crowd is just too odd to take seriously.

    It's kind of confusing though, because of Thier narrative that ,kind of,, the necessity to fly, that some species of dinosaurs covers themselves with feathers and at the same time shrinks themselves gradually to compensate for the characteristics necessary for flight.,when we see the crocodiles that could be considered as one of these dinosaur-like species still lives most of their lives in water and adapts to these kind of environment,barely had the necessities for their bodily autonomy to gradually develop the hands and feet like that of a platipus and a tail that of a shark to adapt fo the waters.

      We actually have good fossil evidence for feathered dinosaurs, though these feathers weren't flight feathers. Feathers first evolved as a downy body covering that may have served either a display function, or thermoregulation, or both. But some were definitely feathered.

      @PepsighCO Před 7 měsíci

      Actually evolution isn't based on fan art or fan fiction, we have numerous fossils that show evolution and the deeper into the fossil record we go the more simple the organisms get.
      Transitional species and vestigial structures are proven, even whales have a pelvic bone left over from evolution.
      It's really cool to see living examples and if you really dig into evolution i think you'll find solid evidence for it.

    I saw a video that made the case that neanderthals were actually the result of a few families leaving a community and attempting to start a new city but the isolation resulted in inbreeding and eventually the community died out because eventual infertility is one of the effects of inbreeding. The more we learn about the neanderthals the more we see the same characteristics that show up in modern day inbred families.

    I'm a Christian and believe in evolution. Not the evolution that most people think of when they hear that word, but evolution as it exists in reality and truth.
    Evolution is one word that is used to simply describe multiple words and occurrences; change, advancement, adaptation, growth, etc. Putting the term "evolution" in that context we can definitively say we have evolved as a species since our creation. Furthermore, evolution isn't limited to the physical aspect, but also the emotional, mental and spiritual as well.
    Lastly, I don't believe the dinosaurs roamed the earth at the same time as mankind. I don't believe we would have survived. Nevertheless, I think it is quite probable that God destroyed the dinosaurs as needed in order to create us.
