I just bought 24 f250 with the 7.3 and it’s a gutless wonder compared to my Chevy! Junk!!! 759 miles the engine is making noises, sounds like bad cam phaser. Going back to Silverado, this time will be a duramax. GM is much more refined, I’ll never look at ford again,, done with it.

I have a STX 2021 and love it. I will never buy a diesel truck.

Just set up the 600 model for my Silverado/jaycoX213. The Kurt unit I had struggled w the weight (tongue weight creeps up fast on this camper) so I'm hoping this will do a little better w/ its 800lb rating. Also looks like everything but the spring bars is the same though their line, so it has a great margin of safety for my application. The trunnion definitely fits loose in the GM receiver.

Well, after towing 3 times with my Curt Tru Track, I just ordered a Weigh Safe to see if i can improve my towing experience. I am within the boundaries of my truck, however most would say I'm under trucked and I dont know if my truck is just going to be stuck experiencing some sway and truck suck or if the Curt just isnt up to the task of handling my combination. I'm really hoping the Weigh Safe is going to improve that experience....

Corey...ford says FALR should be 50 percent. Its in some towing guides in little bitty text. (Of course). So half way back to non hitched height on the front tires is what ford says. In all your hitching...what seems best? Im sure you have a number where you find you like it.

Starting to question why we bought a Grand Design camper. We have a 2020 Imagine 2600RB and have had very minor issues until a recent trip where it seems a roof seal may have given out while driving (we checked them before we left) and now have wrinkles in our roof. Reached out to GD right away and have gotten absolutely nowhere. Monday will be a week since I first reached out and absolutely zero follow up or response from them since. We heard such great things about GD customer service and even had 3 families we know purchase GD campers because of our (until now) great experience. Also wishing we had done the Eternabond tape like you did but didn’t want to void the warranty…. Which seems useless at this point 🤦🏼‍♀️

I have a trailer that tows terrible, not my first trailer not the biggest or heaviest, I have played with weight and hitch adjustments and I am researching new hitch, my current is a reese with chains and I think it is the problem.

I have a 2023 F350 with the 7.3 and 3.72 rear end. Pull a 33’ 11000 lb 5th wheel and really like it. Last trip was almost 500 miles and averaged 9.4 with it. So much more stable than my F150 pulling a 7000 lb trailer.

I disagree with him sayng no weight distribution could better than the one. As soon as he said that his credibility went out the window. I use a harbor freight model and its far better than no wight distribution hitch.

Why, I'm leading on purchasing B&W Continuum WDS. Also, could you provide your issues with Weigh-Safe WDS? The dealer I'm working with says Weigh-Safe WDS quality is very poor and they had several breaks. The Weigh-Safe is the alternative WDS.

Pro Pride no sway hitch with WD. Pricey but worth it. Ram 2500 and 10k pound TT.

I have the best. No sway and WD. Pivot point projection acts like pivot is at back axle. Pro Pride hitch is similar to Hensley. WD is permanently attached and adjustable. Pricey but worth it.

Short term gains, long term bad reputation. Unfortunately, someone else will work with them to keep things moving for themselves, keep up the good work.

We have a 2018 2600rb and it has been terrific to date. We keep it covered in the off season and I'm fairly diligent with maintenance but the quality of GD back then was top notch.

This video is 4 yrs old do you still have the rig ? If so how has the tape held up?

I love our 21 2800BH and we’ve had very few problems with it. However knowing that people were starting to find frame cracks above the equalizer in between the wheels I inspected mine yesterday when I got it home and sure enough small frame cracks on both sides of the trailer. Lippert has a specific fix for this and I’m now covered under the new 5 year frame warranty so I’m cautiously optimistic about getting it fixed.

Red seal RV technician here. My repair shop recommends customers to remove that tape. We live in a wet climate and water gets in the ends and rides the seems .

How do you have your drying rack attached to the camper? Only got a quick view, but it look neat.

We had a 303 5th wheel for nine years and really enjoyed it, no real issues that GD didn’t take care of. Thanks for your videos.

Im sure you and they are correct about the rear slide. They used wording about like "distribution of weight". We all know rear heavily weighted trailers tend to sway side to side, perhaps notwit the load leveling unit. Perhaps thats why it felt "floatie"

Awesome testament to the quality of Grand Design. We really want a 5th wheel at some point in the next couple of years and the 362TBS is one we keep circling back to.

I sold diesel engines for 30 years but I would never buy one myself. IMO the advantage over gas is minimal in most situations and the maintenance and potential for expensive repairs (fuel system) is much greater. If you are a hot-shotter, then yes, diesel probably makes more sense, but you have to stay on top of that fuel system or you will spend some of your profits getting back in service.

We bought a brand new Imagine 2910 three years ago. Had a few issues…nothing major. Trim becoming detached in a few places, 2 blackout blinds malfunctioning/ had to be replaced, main door misaligned (finally made adjustments), one of the water connections loosened behind panel (luckily caught it very early before much water leaked into cargo area), tank sensors defective (will not fix). Overall happy with what we got.

5yrs now with our Imagine 2600RB. We love it and have only had minor issues like yours, especially with the theater seats. We ended up just pulling them out and replacing it with a fabric couch/futon. Also the eternabond on roof seams I installed after watching your “bulletproof your roof “ video has been holding up very well.
