Risen Christ Catholic Parish Denver
United States
Registrace 6. 10. 2016
Risen Christ Catholic Parish in Denver is a vibrant community devoted to prayer, service, and sharing the love of Jesus Christ. The videos posted here include the weekly Sunday Mass (livestreamed), content that explains the Catholic faith, inspiration for prayer, and other topics related to Christianity. In our homilies and other videos we frequently talk about the Catholic Mass, the Eucharist, Confession, the lives of saints, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and questions that people have about Jesus and Catholicism. We even livestream special events and liturgies in our church. The goal of Risen Christ's channel is for all people - practicing Catholics, other Christians, believers, atheists, agnostics, and seekers - to encounter Jesus Christ and be drawn to life in the Catholic Church.
Real friendship with Jesus
Fr. Scott Bailey reflects on having deep friendship with Jesus and how it can be transformative for our lives. He highlights the example of a young woman named Danielle Hosford.

How to Survive a Boring Homily at Mass
Excellent Video!!!
Thank you very much!
I know it’s been 2yrs since it was posted, but is there somewhere or someone to go to for priest who are therapist?
It's very rare for priests to be therapists as well. It's probably best to just ask your local parish priest if he knows of any in the diocese.
May god give peace for all our nations! Germans , french, Spanish, English, Russian and others 🙏🏻♥️✝️
This is such a beautiful blessing of a video! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
Casey Cole is a priest but he doesn't wear the Roman collar. He does however always wear the same simple robes of his fellow Franciscans. And Priests don't always wear a clerical collar if the situation warrants it (such as when swimming, exercising, or playing high impact sports).
❤❤❤
The reason for wearing the dog collar is simple. It kills ticks and fleas for up to thirty days.
Thank you, Father! This was so helpful
Glad to hear it! You're very welcome!
Blessed Miguel Pro, please pray for our sad and sinful world. I pray for the conversion of all souls in this world and I pray for the Restoration of Holy Mother Church.
Very helpful. Thank you, Father!
You are very welcome!
I never heard this before, Catholic and 71.
Father Scott Bailey, I thank you for being a priest.
Thank God that He's called me to it! Blessings to you! - Fr Scott
Wow! All in by your grace Lord! 🚫 tweaking. Thank you Father Scott
Great job Father as Bishop Robert Barron says it is the best thing we can do on earth👏🙏
Awesome job Father with the podcast reminding us of The greatest thing we can do here on earth, as baptized Catholics the exact representation of Jesus in a bloody manner.
Catholics recite The Profession of Faith. The Profession of Faith does not include “ The Communion of Saints.” GOD does not change why is The Church Changing? Our Blessed Mother at Fatima told us that the smoke of satan will be seen in The Church. The smoke of satan is in The Church. A demonic spirit came out of Vatican 2. The Church, Pope, priests, nuns and the laity need prayers badly. GOD Bless!
GOD is always the same. GOD was the same before, is the same now, and will always be the same. Why does The Church change when GOD doesn’t? Catholics do not recite The Apostle’s Creed, The Nicene
It's so kids know when to run.
Hide the little kids
Thank you for this. It helped further illumine for me the liturgy at the Lutheran church I attend (which is very similar in many ways).
The Eucharist is Jesus..miracle of miracles!!
Love this. The morning Mass is something I've come to love
Not all priests. Maybe Catholic priests only? I have not seen this collar in my Church.
It obviously means only they can forgive right? Obviously they ignore many clues that this if false. For example Colossians 2:13 says that every single sin is already forgiven. And the verse in its original writing was a past tense “forgiven” meaning they do not have power that’s us normal folk don’t it’s simply saying that they can declare it not necessarily forgive because only God has the power to forgive. But obviously people want a foot over others so they take the verse out of what it’s supposed to be

You are correct. The Lord will love you regardless of what you do. But if you deny His Word, His commandments you will not be rewarded with Eternal Life. Repent, convert, amend and be contrite
NOTHING
Glory to our Lord.
Thank you so much, Father Scott! 🙏
Confession to a priest is good on persistent sin, but not as a daily chore.
I always wondered about the extra bell ringing, and never gave the hand movement a thought! Thank you!
Here’s a question for you guys out there. What does IHS on the preachers smock stand for?
2 meanings... The acronym for In Hoc Signum (in this sign), recalling the experience that Constantine had with a vision of the cross of Jesus. It is also a reminder of the first three letters in Greek of Jesus's name, capitalized and Latinized (a sigma doesn't look like a capital S, but it's close enough I guess!)
@@FatherScottBailey I always thought that it meant “in his service”
@@michaelboyer9429i like that too!
A kingdom of love...in our hearts! Thank you Padre
Do you sleep?
I want to Thank God because I live in a small country, and I can go to Mass everyday and receive the Eucharist❤
You better get out of that roman catholic church before it's too late
Thanks Fr. Scott for doing this!!!
I'm happy to do it!
God bless you Nice to see real humility God bless you continue your mission with that be blessed love from Melbourne Australia ❤
And obviously the busiest days in your year would be Lent and Easter seasons.
I feel like the gravity of the sin is extremely unclear in many cases. One can say then that it would not be considered a mortal sin for that very reason alone since it lacks full knowledge.
And Jesus said why have you come with all these men with swords I am not a...... Not a what??! 😂
Going back to church after 20 years. I’m 37 now. I’m looking forward to making this a part of my life again
That's wonderful! Welcome back!
@@RisenChristDenver thank you
