This is a terrible challenge in the Church and for you, faithful priests. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please know that that small minority is hurtful...the vast majority (like me), thank you every day in our prayers for being there for us!
The Lord has you in the right place. You have the depth of love, passion, boldness, and tact we all need in these times. I am so grateful God has given you the sound mind and heart to keep going and not let those dishearten you, but give you fuel for a further reach.
I hope all those near and far feel how genuine you are, and know where it comes from.

I am so sorry Fr. Scott that you had to hear that here on You Tube. ☹Are the people out there that closed minded that they think this only happens in The Catholic Church? It seems like that is who is talked about most but in reality, it happens in every domination of church and also in daycares, schools, anywhere where there are children. Dear Fr Scott- that comment on you tube was horrible. Just consider the source-just a wretched cruel comment from someone who probably isn’t even from the parish. It’s always open season for Catholic priests. Your sincerity is heartwarming McCarrick had such a wide reaching effect on this disgusting phenomenon. Please stay strong. The devil likes to attack holy priests. That's his schtick. Fr Scott. You are a beautiful, holy priest. There will ALWAYS be haters. Maybe listen to some Taylor Swift music. Keep going Fr. Scott. The "Church" - everyone - needs you and your ministry, in whatever shape that takes (CZcams or otherwise). Don't forget people project. If you're being accused of being a child molester, what does this say about the person attacking you? Also, I would have to ask, what does a child molester or paedophile look like?
