10 years a priest / Fr. Scott's 10th anniversary homily

Fr. Scott Bailey reflects on 10 years of priesthood, St. John, and St. Joseph. He also shares a prayer for priests to St. Joseph. Here is the text for that prayer:
O humble St. Joseph, who carried
the Infant Jesus in your blessed arms
and who lived in intimate familiarity with Him,
take under your powerful protection those
whom He has clothed with the dignity of His priesthood.
Sustain them in their labors; console them in their pains;
strengthen them in their struggles;
but above all, keep far from them all the evils of sin.
Obtain for them the virtues of which you are the model:
discernment, courage, prudence, chastity, gentleness,
and humility. Help priests imitate your spirit of prayer
and obedience, so that, after having been on earth
faithful preachers and dispensers of the sacraments,
they may receive at last their heavenly reward. Amen.

So nice to see a little of this glorious celebration! Sure, wish I didn't live 500 miles away, I would have loved to have seen this in person. I am there every Saturday night on You Tube though!
