Risen Christ Parish is blessed to have the Priest and Deacon's we do to deliver good homilies with messages to help us through the day and the week. My prayers are with each of you and know that your works are leading me to a better relationship with the Lord. God bless you.

The priest at Risen Christ have renewed my faith over the last several years. Both are fantastic and engaging.

I don't find them boring, just sometimes difficult to understand. It's all so confusing to me but I'm trying! Happy July 4th week-end Fr. Scott! ✝

100%. Well, as a non-Catholic, number two is a little difficult for me. But anyone who sees this, feel free to pray for me too. For months I’ve been asking God, with what I think is an open mind, to show us all the truth, no matter what it is.
I very much would like to be Catholic. I like the order, most of the history, the vocational opportunities, and several other things. There’s some things in the Catechism that I haven’t been able to accept. Please pray for me to accept and believe the truth, whatever it is. Thank you.

We will definitely pray for you! Asking to see and embrace the truth is a great prayer. We trust that God is and will continue guiding you on this journey!

i zone out as soon as the priest/deacon reads the homily. No matter how well written the homily is, reading it verbatim will put me to sleep. Now If he can preach 100% extemporaneous, even if theres mistakes, repeats himself or goes off track, I can stay awake and get more out of it.
