So excuse me for my stupidity, but i am looking at new alloy wheels for my car. The wheels are 5x114 bolt pattern, but i need 5x115. Is this the procedure for changing bolt patterns?

So does that mean if I get wobble bolts I can run 5x114.3 on a 5x112

shortcut here.instead of going through all that drilling and stuff just screw your lug nuts on a few threads deep and beat them into the position you need for each hole with a 5lb hammer. works every time

Also, what about drilling the rotor? Yours seem to be dual-drilled as well.

Can you use these to mount a smaller PCD (114.3) onto a larger hub (5x120.65)?

This has to be a spoof video. Come on! All the way down to the $14 Harbor Freight drill.... So, what size hole was achieved here? Looks rather large for a lug nut.

Just use a bigger drill bit from the back of the wheel

How safe are they ?

Preheat the wheel to "cherry red" prior to drilling. This will soften the metal.

most vehicles have lug nuts not lug bolts My benz s the only vehicle i have ever had with wheel lug bolts every other vehicle i have ever had or have ever changed a tire on had nuts and lug nut studs on the rotors what did i miss in this explanation?

not only is this a great way to mess up your rims, that is also the exact opposite of what to do when drilling metal. when drilling any metal, especially steel, you want to set the speed lower and apply a decent amount of downward pressure on the bit

What im wondering is how can it bolt since the holes on the wheels and the aren't lined up. I mean i put my 114.3 wheels on my 112 hub to check and the holes dont line up

Did I miss the obvious here? Imagine - we have a 1 mm offset (radially). Imagine - I tighten the first bolt finger tight (wheel metal touching disc metal), then follow with the rest. Now I tighten them all - full whack. There WILL be a gap between wheel and disc for 4 bolt positions. Isn't a 'spoke' centraliser required? A misalignment horizontally, at the bolt radius (leaving slight gaps for 4 bolts) must magnify at the wheel outer radius. Would this not promote imbalance of the wheels?

Does these wobble bolts work for 112 wheel on 114.3 hubs? You said the reverse is possible but im not sure if this case is gonna work out with thesebolts

bruh, the wobble bolts I got didn't fit my saab. Worse, the wheels I bought for it takes tuner style bolts. No one in America has then so I had to order them from the UK. Im blown asf lol

im just saying... you could put a foam pad underneath it to cushion it... and it might not be so damn noisy with vibrating metal against concrete/hard surface...

Some guy had some wheels looked good then I took them off and realized they had oval shaped holes. I find this video and realized this is why that happened.

Would they work for putting 5x120 on 5x112??? Basically I wanna put bmw wheels on an audi. Would they work or do I have to drill?

These look just like the wheels I just picked up today and they’re not fitting on my car. They’re the same bolt pattern as my oem wheels but they’re not sliding right on man
