Anche a me sarebbe MOLTO piaciuto aver potuto vivere quel periodo (brevissimo, purtroppo!), ma la ragione fondamentale di questa mia affermazione è LA MUSICA, per cui sono comunque felice di poter ascoltare gli album FANTASTICI dei grandissimi Airplane, tra i quali ho una particolare predilezione per "Crown of Creation", "Surrealistic Pillow", e "After Bathing At Baxter's" -album davvero unici -e in aggiunta a questi e agli altri pochi album storici della formazione "AIRPLANE", sono particolarmente affezionato a quello che per me è senza dubbio uno degli album più belli della scena californiana di quel momento artisticamente così fertile: "Blows Against the Empire" di Paul Kantner & the Jefferson Starship"❣ Devo anche dire che, a mio parere, sono vari gli album realizzati da artisti della cosiddetta scena "west-coast" esattamente allo stesso livello di creatività e genialità di quel magnifico disco: per esempio, "If I Could Only Remember My Name" di David Crosby, un capolavoro io credo, un album semplicemente FA-VO-LO-SO; "Live-Dead" e "AoxomoxoA" dei Grateful Dead; "Happy Trails" e "Shady Groove" dei Quicksilver Messenger Service; "Happy/Sad", "Lorca", "Blue Afternoon" e "STARSAILOR" di Tim Buckley -in particolare "Starsailor", realizzato nel 1970, è un lavoro realmente pazzesco e totalmente unico, uno di quei dischi che io sono felice di aver ptuto conoscere pur non avendo vissuto quel periodo così magico. Ma uno degli aspetti che io amo molto della musica è che consente di "viaggiare nel tempo": quella magia creativa pulsa e vibra forte quando io ascolto a VOLUME ALTO Grace Slick cantare a piena voce "FEED YOUR HEAD, FEED YOUR HEAAAAAAAAAD!!!!!!!!!" 😉 VIVA Jefferson Airplane❣ CIAO! 👍🏻🎸✌🏿

Sound is the studio version 😢 Well edited though, usually you can tell by the drummer's cymbals, either he hits them and you don't hear it or visa versa but I didn't see anything obvious in one viewing.

natural beauty she was.. and i know the 60s was a up and down decade in many regards.. but it was genuine atleast. a rare moment in history, before the kissinger type crooks ruined it all.

this period in music 65-69, golden age.. in the 70s things got more muggy, and the 80s, ugh...

Not sure what to make of this 'live' performance of 'If You Feel'. It's an absolute dead-on duplicate of the song straight from Crown of Creation. Down to the last note. Which is not to say that the JA weren't capable of duplicating a studio recording of a song live. But they tended to add/change/vary things in all of their live performances. I saw them in their salad days and changing their arrangements was routine. My question: is this all that was recorded on camera during this European tour? That would seem....odd. I'd like to hear more.

Too damn bad there’s not nearly enough quality live footage of the Airplane. This is truly great.

@ this very point in time you can tell how much fun Grace is having as she had moved up to a professional group from the group she was headlining prior to the Airplane, The Great Society.

One month before RFK was shot. The world was due to change but the Airplane was incendiary and Grace was ravishing. The best and the worst. Living taoism.
