I am a true scot its my hame
My great grandad Davidson (Eddie Davidson 1898 - 1990) came to Mansfield from Scotland in 1922 and the crest was proudly displayed in stained glass on his front door (some versions of Google Street view will show this ((89 Gladstone street Mansfield)), I also got married in kilt attire wearing the Davidson kilt pin, my best man (my brother) also wore the same, I would love to research some more but don't know where to start

O flower of scotland When will we see Your like again, That fought and died for Your wee bit hill and glen And stood against him Proud edward's army, And sent him homeward Tae think again. The hills are bare now And autumn leaves lie thick and still O'er land that is lost now Which those so dearly held That stood against him Proud edward's army And sent him homeward Tae think again. Those days are past now And in the past they must remain But we can still rise now And be the nation again That stood against him Proud edward's army And sent him homeward, Tae think again. 0 flower of scotland When will we see Your like again, That fought and died for Your wee bit hill and glen And stood against him Proud edward's army, And sent him homeward Tae think again

Hello Prince Edward Islanders!
Braw
Proud to be a MacDonald from America. My Great grandfather was from the Isles
Great to be Scottish 😊
Playing outlawed tunes on outlawed pipes…..so much respect for fallen soldiers of every nation
It is very easy to be proud of the US Marines
"Auntie Mary had a canary..."
Absolutely beautiful ❤
Some Grade 1 pipe band needs to take inspiration from this rendering of "The Marchioness" and play it as their medley opener. Round it out more completely and play all four parts at a flying hornpipe-style tempo. That would be cracking.
This gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it, it's great being scottish
What the furries played when they realised the Anti-Furries were coming for them.
Love Scotland the Brave Love bagpipes. Mr. X
A very proud MacRae right here.
A wee bit up tempo for my tastes . That said note perfect. But how fast do you play the "fast Bit?"
Nice music
Sigma❤❤❤❤

I’m scr, there will be a new Scottish class 385 - sneak peek
My beautiful husband was Scottish.. he loved bagpipes so.. he was very sick and too weak to play them.. this beautiful poignant song was played at his funeral.. and whenever I hear this.. I cry💜💙
God Bless you Jen. I have played this on the pipes a good many times, I also played at the Cenotaph in Whitehall in a pipe band back in 1984. Sorry to hear of the loss of your husband, take care as best you can.
@@LanceHardingYour beautiful reply.. your kind words.. are deeply appreciated.. we Scottish tend to be a bit melancholy and stoic.. the bagpipes were dear to my sweet William.. he so would have loved to hear you play.. thank you for your gentle reply.. May God Bless you… 💜💙🙏✨🦋
@@Jen999 I know only too well, my Granny was from Scotland, she never lost her accent, was very proud of it, so am I too. You are very welcome, look efter yersel'.
@@LanceHarding Oh so glad to hear that.. my mother was Scottish.. she taught me to pray in Gaelic.. William and I prayed with her.. thank you for sharing that.. Slan mo charaid 💜💙
Proud to have been born a McConnell
How long until playing the bagpipes is considered a hate crime? I reckon about 9 years at this rate 😂

🏴✔️ I cant get a blue one
If he is self taught, i am impressed even more I am from Scotland and i can tell you playing the bagpipes is difficult even to learn

There's none of that race line, English, who has not been consigned to Perdition; all including the first, Memkixu...
Celt was the name of the earliest Celtic one; the first one of that Rezefede, or patriarchal attribution, whose half-brother was the progenitor of the Frisian, or English ones- their father was Draik, who had two wives, one unwisely. Celt, one of the 13 martyred kings of Allbion, was put into sore bondage and shackles by the English, and was eventually put to death; martyred- because he refused to submit to English hegemony over himself and his people. His hair was blonde. This was an Unpardonable action, of Perdition, of course- as also, the murder of Mary, of Scots was (whatever the level in her degree of wisdom was)... The English, Outlanders, later had a grand Design, first and ongoingly on Allbion; later on the entire world, the origin of the Anglo-Centric Grand World Design, in which this country also played a role. No one residing here has ever been English, nor ancestrally, neither any of the teenage British soldiers sent here to contest an irremediable race-split, in a brawly thrive. It may be a common viewpoint, English are a Race, deserve a land for themselves, but this is not true for an Urwetu Race. For a long time, there has been no Frisian or English "Patriarchal" accursed Attribution, it was removed from the planet long ago... such races came from a forbidden mixture, are called Urwetu. Piece for bagpipes, very ancient, written by an Avatar, *Saiw* in grief over the outworking, tragic, of a clan-feud of the region... *TimekeepsNovaScotia/UnmakeAmerica*
Nice tune with meaning 🎶🎶👍
