Superb playing. In my time, circa late sixties, I heard mention of John D Burgess, always in reverential tones, but never heard him play.....until now...thanks to you, Strathendrick piper. Willie Ross, was to me a legend. I often wondered if he really existed.....but again, thanks to you...there he is playing. Keep up the good work. You are doing the piping world a great service.
The 6th part of Pretty Marion gave me chills. (I don't have the music but I think Pretty Marion has 8 parts. If I were a wolf, that 6th part would have me howling.)
Let's just say that the two tenors are perfectly in tune, which is exactly what happens when you hit past Grade 1 in solos, especially perfecting and mastering the bagpipes. ;)
Fantastic chanter. And fingers.
The King of the Highland Pipes, breathtaking!!!
Agreed, fast strong fingers, perfect timing
Jeezus my Lord, the doublings & grace notes got me timbers' a shivering
