Puffing Billy Railway
Hello all,
Welcome to a Victorian heritage train video, today we are back at the Puffing Billy Railway, capturing a rather unique occasion. On the 26th and 27th of June, locomotive 7A was returned to service after an almost two-year hiatus. During this period, maintenance work was carried out, however it was pushed out into service early with the arrival of this year's Train of Lights season. Due to the earlier return to service, the locomotive, although mechanically ready, looked rather different, still being in primer. For both days, 7A operated the 1415 service from Belgrave.
This video captures the locomotive and service on the second day of operation. Since filming, the locomotive has been taken back out of service to undergo the final touches.
Some of the starting shots were captured with permission within the yard.

The Puffing Billy Railway is Victoria’s most famous tourist railway. Located in the Dandenong Ranges, the railway is 15.6 miles (25.1 km) long, operating with their original locomotives from over 100 years ago. They operate regularly throughout the year, and also hold special events like the tour seen in this video. For more information about events and regular services, check out: puffingbilly.com.au/

7A's Return to Steam for 2024
Puffing Billy Railway
Hello all,
Welcome to a Victorian heritage train video, today we are back at the Puffing Billy Railway, capturing a rather unique occasion. On the 26th and 27th of June, locomotive 7A was returned to service after an almost two-year hiatus. Hey mate what a great video while presented great locations the location that you picked a for Boronia that's what I would have done to too wet so I kept pretty much to the stations but that location at Boronia to return trip from Bayswater is a prime spot a million-dollar shot

Great layouts, got to see my fav loco the VR Y class. One thing though, Warragul isn't in the Latrobe Valley, its West Gippsland. Moe, Morwell & Traralgon are in the Latrobe Valley.
Cheers. You are indeed correct, but the name Latrobe Valley is connected to the club’s name who have their clubrooms located in Moe. Usually the exhibition is held in Morwell, but the hall was unavailable last year, thus being moved to Warragul. Should note this information was in the description.

Hi! Thanks for your wonderful review of Evening Star! The growling noise the loco makes is probably caused by your controller, I reckon it's one of the Hornby controllers that come with a Hornby set?
Cheers. I can confirm that indeed would be the case. During the middle of the next year after this video was recorded, we've now switched to a controller by Gaugemaster, however I should note that it isn't only Hornby controllers that can cause this effect.
