Pretty good video; very helpful hopefully I can get the ac blower to come on without jumping it off to come on… Do you have any videos with ground problems ?
@@Obs_sergeallday Unfortunately I dont have any content on ground issues What problem do you have with the blower motor?
@@Slicpartna thanks I can’t get the windshield wiper to come on, radio and the ac is out.. I would have to hit a bump for them to pop on… good Mechanic are in short supply in New Orleans 🤦🏽♀️
@@Obs_sergealldayoh wow that isnt good!! You might have checked this already but you can check the ground from the battery to the engine block and to the body Make sure the bolts are tight
@@Slicpartna Will be checking it in the AM. Thanks
excellent video but have a question. i have a 09 2500hd quad cab 4x4. to my understanding the electrical connector that plugs into my abs module (looks like yours) also sends signals to turn off and on the fuel pump. did you run into this problem when removing the abs module and if so what did you do to fix it? thanks one more thing i dont have a brake power booster i have hydraboost.
I didn't have any issues with the fuel pump. Everything should should work the same with the hydraboost Let me know if you have any other questions Thanks for watching
Just came across a 99 suburban. Figured why not? Your videos are helping me find direction on this build bro thank you 🙏🏽

Thank you very much! I have cleaned mine out with a garden hose before but I am definitely going to use the foam spray asap I need all the air I can get mine not cutting it.

Sir... this is by far the best video
Thanks for the compliment Let me know if you have any questions Thanks for watching
An absolute legend. Thank you. 🙏

If the brakes are hard when the truck is not running and then spongy when the truck is running it's usually the hydraulic valves in the ABS.
I believe I have that issue too thank you.
Let me know if you have any questions Thanks for watching
Nice work bro. I had this video on my watch later list. I have my Elco completely primed with high build. I just need to get down on some blocking. Your video got me inspired to start working again. Thank you bro. Stay up✊
I suggest breaking the block sanding down into micro tasks, just do a little at a time You will eventually get it completed and ready for the next step Thanks for watching
Good job bro. I also prefer wetsanding my guide coat with 400 grit. I find dry sanding too scratchy and I burn through much more easily.
going forward i will only wet sand, when i dry sanded the hood, I burned through. i re-sprayed primer on the hood, wet sanded, this time it was a different outcome I'm sold on wet sanding thanks for watching
How many remote vehicle buttons can be wired up?
You can have as many remote buttons as you want Let me know if you have any other questions Thanks for watching
I like wet sanding as well. It makes the sand paper last longer. I have a black GMC Yukon and want to paint it at home. I agree with your idea of painting a section at a time. These are big SUV's and without a paint booth I think it's smart to break it down.
I favor wet sanding over dry sanding. I can deal with the water more than the dust. Thanks for watching
Not trying to be rude here but 21 first century man no one wet sands anyone I dry sand every thing
Hey doc no offense taken, Like I said dry sanding create too much dust for me. Thanks for watching

What about that annoying ABS light how do you get that to come off after the final assembly??
I removed the bulb for the abs in the instrument cluster Let me know if you have any other questions
I appreciate you for making this detailed vid. Just got my 96 burb blower motor out and I’m stunned how clogged my cooling fins are. When you are rinsing with water is there any danger of the crud getting stuck in the other side of those aluminum fins ? Or does it drain on the other side too ? Going to depot tomorrow to get the foaming cleaner. Thank you , just subbed Also what brand blower did you buy ?
Use a tooth brush to dislodge the crud, remove the debris as best as you can. I ordered the blower motor from rockauto I cant recall the brand. Let me know if you have any other questions Thanks for watching
@@Slicpartnamany thanks , I found it on rockauto, it’s a four seasons. Appears some Autozone’s carry it too. Blessings
Howdy there, great video What do u think would be my issue would be if I smell ac refrigeration on inside of my 97 k1500, ac freon doesn't stay in overnite even
@@danieldriscol4484 If you smell refrigerant inside the passenger area, then you might have something going on with the evaporator. I would suggest doing a leak search. You can add dye to the system or use refrigerant that has dye in it. To confirm if is the evaporator you will see the dye leak out of the condensate drain tube with the condensation. You will need a light that will pick up the UV Dye Do this at night, you will see the dye better Good luck Thanks for watching
Ive always just Poured ground pepper and it even seals larger cracks

Wow 27 years! I'm sure there is all kinds of debris in there blocking the air flow. Let me know if you have any questions Thanks for watching
Loved the 383 build that I need to rewatch but now paint nice loving your content. Stay Real!! Thanks again
Thanks for the compliment and thanks for watching Let me know if you have any questions about this build
That's one smooth looking Suburban, I've never seen anyone shave the door handles and tail lights. Maybe do the jams ahead of time. Having it all closed when you do the outside should make it easier to get the same finish on the doors and fenders.
Thanks for the compliment I plan to paint the door jambs and the roof at that same time. Stay tuned in, Thanks for watching.
Nice bro keep pushing

Added a dye to my coolant to find my leak but this would be quicker method for-sure
yep yep, it doesn't take much time for the leak to reveal itself let me know if you have any future questions thanks for watching
Nice! I have the same issue. 2004, 5.3, drip drip drip! I've been smelling coolant for a while now. The leak finally got heavy enough for it to drip past the skid plate and onto the driveway. Fun!
Let me know if you have any questions Thanks for watching
@@Slicpartna I ended up replacing the water pump today. Pretty easy really, except for the coolant mess. Whoever it was at GM that made the decision to block off the radiator petcock is a grade-A idiot, lol. I ended up putting two and a half gallons of coolant into it when I was done, and after bringing it up to operating temperature, it doesn't show any signs of leaking! Fingers crossed.

Whatz up doc
