What will happen after doing this kriya
It seems his opinion was taken out prejudice or not having enough or correct information about the technique it self. I am a psychologist and i know many meditation techniques, not only in theory and i can say Vipassana is not harmful. If you want to enhence your self knowledge and wisdom, Vipassana its way to go. :) Ps: there are some specific cases of very deep traumas or psychiatric patients that could present chalenges, for those, i recommend trying some other therapies or meditation before trying Vipassana. But i am not saying to avoid it at all. Cheers

Second Stage: 15 minutes Return to normal breathing and with a gentle gaze look at a flashing blue light or a candle flame. Keep your body still. Third Stage: 15 minutes With closed eyes, stand up and let your body be loose and receptive. The subtle energies will be felt to move the body outside your normal control. Allow this “Latihan” to happen. Don’t do the moving: let moving happen, gently and gracefully. Fourth Stage: 15 minutes Lie down with closed eyes, silent and still.

Bro arya astangik marg consist of sheel samadhi pragya... you are underestimating the pragya part... let me explain it the practice of samadhi will eventually leads to chakra and kundalini activation third eye and powers you are talking about.. there are 8 levels of samadhi last one is neither perception nor non perception in patanjali yoga sutra it is call nirvikalp samadhi then why we are tradind for pragya.. delve in it.. pragya will only lead you to break the samadhi and get you liberated. In other kundalini traditions this pragya is called rhitambhara pragya it will come only when you reach highest level of samadhi then you become elligible as for it to break that samadhi and you reqlise the true nature of all the samadhi and the ordain world.. thats why vipassana is 180° shift from normal samadhi meditation.. and in vipassana you are traind from day one to experience the nature of reality... in other meditation practices you are experience the different level of reality and powers of mind.. to breakthrough out of everything you need pragya.. else you will keep expering the sublest of realities with realising their true nature.. hope i explain it well..

I really hear what you are saying in this video. I am a regular yoga, pranayama, meditation practitioner prepared myself for vipasana. I did once in my life 10yrs ago. I was ready to go throu for 10days. I had a great experience and deeper level of meditation. However, ever since, I became hyper sensitive for everything. I became quiet parson. Minimising noise for every single actions I make which sounds perhaps grace but, not! I can no longer live like normal...Everything stimulates me. Not only the busy city or crowed people. Even in the nature, the sun light is too strong. The wind is too stimulating me, the sound of ocean waves or rain..everything stimulated me too much! Over the time, today, im isolating myself from the world. I can only live in simple way and I’m straggling to manage my family life. To recover from here, I started to listen to my body, follow what my body wants to do… I don’t follow any one of gurus teachings.. I do practice any one of them just depending on what my body wants to do today. Hopefully, I can go back to enjoy society and feeling joy connecting with the world again. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Are you speaking after completing atleast one course? If yes, you would have benefitted by discussing this with the Assistant Teacher by practicing it the right way. If not, then please get personal experience to benefit from it. It does not require such prior preparation. You are doing disservice to your own practice by posting such misinformation.
