capturing a snake skin in the wild

We snuck up on a snake skin and cornered it so that it didn't have a chance in hell of getting away from us.

Sure, it will cut stickers. That isn't why we got it, though. More to come.
camo hood complete

I finished the hood, knocking out a giant piece of my quest to make the ultimate rifleman scrim kit. If you want one of these sets just give it a little time as I get the process and material requirements dialed in.

Great idea for minutemen. What brand of scrim?
@KrKr_FL this is from Novristch but it doesn't doo too good under IR light. I am starting to make my own, funny you would ask.

Damn Good looking Sewing. Never tried with camo/that kind of thing, when doing upholstery, however I’d imagine it’s not necessarily easy making it fit; especially the first time/pack. Time and patience; keep doing the things.
@paemtff9412 these are actually remarkably simple but theu do take more material than I anticipated
Wow great job would you be willing to do a how to video I’m just now getting into sewing my own gear and any help or tricks you kno would be greatly appreciated
I could, but these are rather easy. I cut a square out of each corner of the fabric- then sewed it together (inside out) to join it, establishing a 'box' shape. The ends of the piece were hemmed and then hemmed again leaving room for the cord to pass through. (Could even do tjat part first to make sewing the corners easier) After that I marked the middle and pinned one strip of scrim from top to bottom, after that I eyeballed the rest of the strips and sewed them on. I am somewhat new tp sewing myself, and I am finding I just eyeball stuff a lot more as I get better. I couldn't tell you what soze my fabric piece was, but that all depends on the bag anyway. Dry fit, use clips and bobby pins, always try to fool propf it before you cut it or sew it. The mistakes you will find yourself making is putting clips on backwards or making something upside down or even sewing the long sode onto something instead of the short side- the mistakes are always easy things that wpuldn't have happened if you gave it one extra minute of thought. Don't be afraid to invest that minute to ensure your strategy is sound.
@@bizzlesnach thanks so much what type of fabric do you use I’ve been using the net laundry bag stuff but it rips apart in no time in the ozark hills and thanks for the tip about the hemming I’ll def try it
@misfitlife3091 this particular cover was done with some ripstop material but camo fabric depot makes a good 'concealment mesh' that works great for this but I ran out making the hood.
Just stepped on one yesterday
Did it get you?
@@bizzlesnach nope... That's 2 I've seen this year so far

Making a pack cover to go with it.
@@bizzlesnach brilliant, I might need to place an order soon bro
I am working on something like that as well. Also need to get a helmet cover. I am also working on a camo alternative for my rifle that isn’t paint or tape. We will see if it works out. Lol. Great job again. 🙂👍🏽
