When we have a full plate (or in this case, cup) and feel overwhelmed, it's important to check in with ourselves and understand what our needs are. It might be helpful to talk to someone or treat ourselves with a break. Spill the Tea combines the two and creates an opportunity for young adults to get to know each other while drinking and "spilling" their "tea". Get ready to drink some tea with us as we relax and discuss through some of the heavier topics in our lives 🧋💛
Many young adults find themselves caught in a relentless cycle of stress and exhaustion trying to balance academic pressures, career goals, and social expectations. Everyday usage of social media, in combination with the pressures of trying to excel in all areas of life, has created a perfect storm for burn out. Aspiring to become successful often comes at the cost of mental and emotional well-being, leading to feelings of fatigue, stress, anxiety, and sometimes anger/irritability.
