When we have a full plate (or in this case, cup) and feel overwhelmed, it's important to check in with ourselves and understand what our needs are. It might be helpful to talk to someone or treat ourselves with a break. Spill the Tea combines the two and creates an opportunity for young adults to get to know each other while drinking and "spilling" their "tea". Get ready to drink some tea with us as we relax and discuss through some of the heavier topics in our lives 🧋💛
Creating meaningful connections comes with its own set of challenges, but it can become even more difficult depending on the circumstances between people. Consider a generational divide; it can be difficult to connect with someone from a different generation when so many differences already exist between you upon first meeting. The environment you grew up in, the mentality you hold at your current age, the social script you follow when a hierarchy of seniority exists- all this and more are things we have to maneuver around when trying to form intergenerational connections.
