It’s so liberating to figure out what is nonessential in one’s life and then purge it to make room for what’s next. I just did exactly that in my closet as I prepare for my next decade. (Turning 70 next month.) In May I visited Trinny London for skin care and makeup advice. It was fabulous! Now my wardrobe consists of only those pieces I actually WEAR and love, and I feel energized (not weighted down) when I walk into my closet every day! I signed up for an adult ballet class and also bought an E-bike! 70’s? Bring it! You’re so inspiring Trinny!

Trinny is the classic Bright/Clear Spring! She looks amazing in Bright Navy as well. Those colors make her eyes pop and skin glow. As a Bright Spring myself, I would love to get my hands on that top!
I would LOVE to see you do a new take on some of your prior Closet Confessions. For example, “[name of prior video] Redux.” You have new items in your closet, and a revised style, so it would be lots of fun to see your current take on prior subjects. It would also get more people to watch the prior videos, which is a plus! And for those of us who could never get into the trainers or chunky boots, we are loving the variety of shoe choices. Be ruthless! The shirt dress doesn't work according to what you're doing now. It's really hard sometimes to let go, but you just gotta be ruthless. Ditto for the chunky silver shoes, ditto for the asymmetrical striped dress. Many of the clothes that you're culling aren't in your colour wheel -- biscuit, cream, khaki -- I'd love for you to do a segment on colours. It so helpful in avoiding bad purchases. Love you Trinny!
Such a fun video and inspiring me to go and cull my own summer clothes (I don't have enough to call it a wardrobe!) But my takeaway from this was Trinny's idea that it's not quantity, it's whether the colour, shape, fit etc are right for me. I have work to do.... enjoyable work 😁

The blue-and-white tie-dye beach dress: ask your wonderful seamstress to add shoulder straps! They'd take a bit of weight off the rucheing/shirring, which would save it. Such a pretty fabric, and if you throw it away you'll just end up hunting for a new one just like it.

Store you bikini sets in zip lock bags, it keeps them organised and then they are grab & go on holidays, plus then you’ve got a plastic bag to put ur wet swimmers in
