Community HOPEcast EP 9 - Spill the Tea (Coping Mechanisms)

When we have a full plate (or in this case, cup) and feel overwhelmed, it's important to check in with ourselves and understand what our needs are. It might be helpful to talk to someone or treat ourselves with a break. Spill the Tea combines the two and creates an opportunity for young adults to get to know each other while drinking and "spilling" their "tea". Get ready to drink some tea with us as we relax and discuss through some of the heavier topics in our lives 🧋💛
Stress exists in many forms all around us. When it becomes too much for us to bear, it’s important to utilize coping mechanisms to make the situation a little better- or at least tolerable. As with many things, there’s no one size fits all coping mechanism. Individually, we all have developed or learned different ways of coping in different situations. Some of these might be common while others may be rather unique.
