I came upon Ruskin bond rather late in life....probably in my early 20s. But I made up for that early loss, and have read most of his work. I have not counted but there must be dozens of his books in my collection. I have walked past his house several times on my trips to Mussoorie-Landour, and have covered the trails on the western & eastern fringes of this hill station that feature in his writing. But I am yet to meet this remarkable man who made India his home, and is more of an Indian than most of us.
I wish and pray that he lives to be a 100 and continues writing about our hills, the people of our hills, and the denizens of those forested areas. Thank you Mr Bond🫡
