What people don’t realize is that Out of Sight is totally busted because it literally gives Mario 2 turns in a row. Effectively, it makes Bow a second Mario as a partner. Turn 1: Mario gets a free attack in then goes invisible. Turn 2: Mario gets his second attack in and Bow doesn’t attack (but you count turn 1 as Bow’s attack basically). It’s very broken.

I agree with your ranking except for the placement of chapters 7 and 6. I wouldve switched their spots for ny ranking. Im not a fan of chapter 7.

32:56 you actually don’t! An old CZcamsr by the name of LuckySevenDX did a playthrough of sticker star in the mid 2010s and he showcased two ways to counter the blooper poison. 1. A poison mushroom overrides the effect since Mario (and enemies) can only have one status effect active at once 2. A VERY well timed guard can completely negate the poison. Watch the rhythm of the blooper’s tentacles to know when to guard

I completely disagree with the number 4 overrated. Your reason for saying it’s overrated is that it has a motion control gimmick, and this other fight has a motion control gimmick and it’s hated. The difference is that for Giant Bowser, it is one bad attack in an otherwise great fight, but with the Zeekeeper, it is a bad attack in a bad fight. Both motion control gimmicks are the worst aspect of their respective fight, but whenever something is the worst part of something that isn’t good, it tends to be touted as the sole reason it’s bad. I think it’s more accurate to say that the Zeekeeper fight’s motion control attack is over hated, rather than saying that Giant Bowser is overrated.

The first 4 areas of this game are nostalgic to me for some reason. This was the first mario and luigi game i played, where i got it in like 2015 and then i got paper jam next in 2018. I always got stuck in wakeport due to the sleepy boss, so the first 4 are memorable to me, and that’s probably why i think dozing sands may be my favorite area. I think dream team is also my favorite M&L game, and it has the most playtime on my 3ds out of all my games! I hope you respond to this and upload again soon its been forever!

I was flabbergasted with some of these rankings, and then you mentioned that you only played this once and recently. Chapter 3 is incredible. Chapter 6 is abysmal, worst in the game imo.

My 5 favorite bosses are: 5. Giant bowser (the sequenced attacks dropped this fight to number 5, even though I wanted it to have the number 2 spot) 4. Elite trio (In hard mode or the battle ring this fight may be hell) 3. Antasma (this is a good final boss for the dream world) 2. Dreamy bowser (So close to being number 1, but there’s one other boss that’s much better in my opinion) 1. Bowser jr (This is in the battle ring, and the fight is very fun + using his koopa clown car against him is so satisfying)

As a child my biggest and most stupidest hyperfixation was things that spin so having a pixel that spun things made fleep my favourite, I am the one and only fleep enthusiast and i am proud of it

34:11 for giants. While all the normal ones are understandable, giant fights are hype man. (If anything like 4:05 happens just use smaller swipes. The game won't process these big swipes because they go off the touch screen)

My ranking: 4) Doop Doop Dunes (Never finished Paper Jam, so I don't expect to like this area) 3) Dozing Sands (I don't like the music or the drilling mechanic but I get why people like it) 2) Teehee Valley (Protecting Princess Peach from the Desert Goombas is freaking annoying, but once you get good at it and you can do the puzzles fast enough for her to not get captured feels really satisfying) 1) Gritzy Desert (I like the idea of the Bros and Babies splitting up to connect the Dry Bone light thingies and the music is the best Desert theme in a Mario RPG)

This was my least favorite game of the series.

For some reason, the Cannonballer does the least amount of damage for me, even less than Fire Flower and Green Shell.

When Dreamy Bowser goes into the background to heal, the intended strat is to use a taunt ball to get him to destroy his own minions. I don't understand how anyone would ever figure that out. Surprised you listed it as high as you did

I hate the steak because i had to grind the roshambo temples for ages to hit it perfectly with the hammer.

I don't know if this is just a me thing but I like watching how the new levels get painted on the world map. It's oddly satisfying

The Chargin Chuck Corp was actually teased way before you actually fight them. I don’t remember the exact location and circumstances but they were the ones that hauled the trio to the prison and I thought that’s a positive thing

I get your feelings about Bowsers Castle but picture how someone sees the fight playing it for the first time. Bowser just got crushed by his own castle and you play this mini game as the bros. Then Bowser becomes gigantic and chucks his castle away. I don’t mind the simplicity of this fight because for newcomers it introduces special fights that would later be explored in future games.

I like Dark Fawful as a boss but that GODDAMN GOOMBA ATTACK has been the cause of many game overs because it’s so hard to counter.

The Kamek battles in Sticker Star can be annoying if you fail to get a good battle spin, the flip flops function basically like an Eek-hammer.

It’s a sign, how perfect TTYD is when even it’s worst boss fight is still a good one! In my opinion TTYD is the perfect Mario RPG

To Giant Bowser: I hate Gyro Controls in General! If I could turn them off, I would do it without having a second thought!

For me the worst Bros Attacks are all the attacks using Gyro Controls 🤮, if you could turn them off I wouldn’t mind

When I fought blizzard midbus, my bowser was so underlebeled he went from 15 to 20

To make Snifit or Whiffit a bit easier, you can take a camera and take pictures of the cards on screen (whenever possible) to know what cards to pick in case you forgot them

I just realized that the Mix Flower’s sprite looks like a combination of the fire flower and a ShineSprite from Mario Sunshine.

Paper Jam is so underrated, I think the reason why it's overrhated is the fact that the crossover is dissapointing, but the game is actually fun, and another thing that it gets hate on is the basic modern 2d mario world and enemies that Paper Jam takes place on, but if I gotta be honest here, I really dont mind if they'll only use it once, I think the enemy and bosses are fun, and they make good use of attacks too which is something that Paper Jam does very well. The toad missions are fun too, making the game difficult but fun at the same time. Overall, Paper Jam is underrated.

My favorite boss fight is Antasma, he has great attacks, I like his character how he's like the Dark Star 2.0, altough the only attack i have trouble still to this day avoiding, is when he becomes to many bats, I find it annoying how you'd get blinded by other bats thinking they're the ones to dodge, but instead you get hit just when you land the ground by one of them.

I'd consider #4 and #6 my least favorites. Mainly because of fetching and backtracking. #6 being slightly better because of the boss.

For #8, There's also a Shy Guy from the Sunset Express who talked to Mario and said he didn't like working for Bowser. In this level, that same Shy Guy is on one of those swing things. I think this is really good storybuilding and just wanted to point that out.
