Wakeport is my favourite, it feels so lively and relaxing for me being there! And the big massif dream is very good in my opinion
Oh yeah the dream world is phenomenal and if it was including the dream worlds then it would be higher, and Wakeport is great on its own

My favorite areas are the dream world areas, the Somnom Woods, the desert area on whatever it’s called, and Bowser's castle area.

Neo bowser castle (dream team version) is honestly my favorite area in the whole mario and luigi series. And somnom woods is my favorite mario forest ever

The first 4 areas of this game are nostalgic to me for some reason.
This was the first mario and luigi game i played, where i got it in like 2015 and then i got paper jam next in 2018. I always got stuck in wakeport due to the sleepy boss, so the first 4 are memorable to me, and that’s probably why i think dozing sands may be my favorite area. I think dream team is also my favorite M&L game, and it has the most playtime on my 3ds out of all my games!

The thing I like most about Dream team is its visual style, amazing world design and music.
So if I were to rank the areas I'd mostly go by visual appeal. Which you kinda did too in a few places.

7. Pill’o Castle (Nostalgia carrying this one lmao. Something about mushrise park is kinda annoying to me. To add on, this and everything else above it have some sort of real world memory attached to it. Weird how it happened for pretty much every area)
6. Driftwood Shore (This hurt to put so low, but the sea horses are quite annoying)
5. Somnom Woods (Don’t hate me LOL. I barely remember anything that happened in this area except for the beautiful scenery. Also I have PTSD from one of my family members walking in on me singing the background music really aggressively)
4. Dozing Sands
3. Wakeport
2. Neo Bowser Castle (Kinda forget what happened here except for the dream world bits and having the music playing in the background while decorating my Christmas tree one year. Still really cool tho)
1. Mount Pajamaja
TLDR: Only area I dislike is mushrise park and my memory is a piece of sh!t (censoring it so it doesn’t get deleted by dumba$$ CZcams)

I also agree. If Bowser's Inside Story was quite a bit longer, and made the 2D sections a bit better and more of them, I could see it tying with Dream Team.

9. Dozing Sands
Literally all you do is break rocks. There’s also the minigame with Torkscrew but it feels like an afterthought so… BORING
8. Pi’illo Blimport
Yeah let’s be honest here… this one really isn’t much of a level, I mean the theme is Tutorials Tutorials and more Tutorials. YAAAAY
7. Pi’illo Castle
At least there’s stuff going on here like how Quaint the castle itself feels and the secrets within, but it still has first world syndrome
6. Mushrise Park
The first visit is kinda bare, but the second visit is fun thanks to how satisfying it is to break those rocks
5. Driftwood Shore
The undisputed best beach world in the series IMO. The puzzles and Mole Hunt feel right, and it’s very relaxing too.
4. Wakeport
The most relaxing Lively place in the game, with the sidequest, the Mad Skillathon, and ok. Who would think to find Big Massif by going on the upper level with the only access point being on the far right? No one that’s who.
3. Mount Pajamaja
The first visit has heart with the Massif Bros’s burly hearts, and the second visit feels like an expansion. Gameplay wise, I prefer Wakeport tho.
2. Neo Bowser Castle
The second best final level in the series testing your skills with every move in the game and disorienting pathways thanks to Kamek’s Magic.
1. Somnom Woods
Without Question, the BEST area in any Mario RPG thanks to its atmosphere, music, story, and gameplay combining together to make a phenomenal level.

I like dozing sands because it isn’t your ordinary desert. They make it like a work area where you break rocks and find pillows. it’s really creative. Also the boss brickle is pretty funny at times, especially when she acts like she’s dead.
how about ranking every moment where Mario and Luigi are separated?
it includes when Mario/Luigi gets kidnapped or something and Luigi/Mario is the only character you can use,
but also when they are both by themselves, and you have to get them back together
(and it also includes when the babies aren't with the bros)

SCREW DOZING SANDS ON MY FIRST or should i say many playthroughs I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO EVEN DO WITH THE MECHANICALL DRILL but torkscrew is what saves dozing sands for me

same i went to play the game after months of not playing it and i was confused on how to get to torkscrew area for 3 hours
Pretty great list, but in all honesty, I don’t really agree with Neo Bowser Castle being second best as it feels like the second most padded and poorly paced area in the game and considering that I find Dream Team to be a poorly paced and padded out game in GENERAL, that’s not a good thing.

Could you rank the bowser battles of the mandl series by bowser fights I mean the rookie fights but not dark bowser hes a different character and would obviously be number 1

@@ShroobInvader I can't remember neo bowser castle tbh aside from the kamek fight that puts it in the top 4 and somnom woods enemies make me want to do very not good things to my 3ds. and the lofty dream world music just works best (better than the other dream areas) imo.

oh yeah you're right but the big massif fight and the hooraws are not technically in wakeport they are in DREAMY wakeport but the wiggler and popple fight are in wakeport

I am beat Mario and Luigi superstar saga and I thought it was good game not as good as dream team and bowser inside story in my book. My favorite final level music is castle bleck.
