By instead using the less heavy Viking CP-100 Cockpit and the 500 He3 Fuel Tanks, I was able to save quite a bit of Mass. Plus gain more crew as it allows 4 crew stations instead of 2 and only weighs 4 Mass. This allowed me to upgrade to the more powerful Helios 400 Grav Drive, add some "Structural" items to make it look cooler and still come in at 510 Mass with full speed.

Can you assign any of the companion members to your base operations...?? If yes...which ones are the best for your base ?? All the Companions seem to be focused on Ship Operations. I know in Mars, there are Hire crew members that will run your bases..but they cost 9,000 credits or more.

For anyone that still doesn't know, Sarah has a special ability that is NOT tied to her leadership skill. She is hard scripted to not count against your crew size. Presumably this is because she was Bethesda's default choice for a romantic companion, which makes sense given she has a ton of dialog options regarding various quests.

Hey Angry Turtle! I just wanted to thank you for posting this video. I've been flying my variant of this ship (mine's called 'Gremlin') since level 12 or so (I had to upgrade as I leveled up). My character just hit level 60 with the relevant ship skills maxed out, and I finally purchased and installed the new upgrades... I'm playing on extreme space difficulty and it's like it doesn't even matter. I decided to use the Deimos parts instead of Nova Galactic. I swapped out the cockpit for the higher cargo variant, dropped a fuel tank for a single, smaller rear mounted tank, and ended up with the following stats: Gremlin Overview: Fuel: 140 Hull: 1204 Cargo: 420 Reactor: B 39 Jump: 30 LY Crew: 2 Shield: 1450 Par 0: 85 Par 1: 98 Par 2: 101 Value: 481200 Mass: 475 (-35 tons!) Gremlin is fast. Gremlin is agile. Gremlin eats ships for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thanks again!

i dont understand this... why are class c weapons, especially the more expensive ones, weaker than class a and b weapons with bad stats? i installed rocket launchers wich cost 40k, 4 of them, and it was a joke... the fire rate and the damage was laughabla stupid bethesda shit why on earth would you do this this is beyond me

When the dweller levels up how does the “special” get upgraded?

This kill box idea is dumb, why not toss your power supply levels on top with max S dwellers you hit more Crits that way even if you need to revive your Mr helper too

If you don't have a companion but have ship crew you will get the damage bonus and armor bonus when you are on foot. If you don't have a companion AND don't have a ship crew then you will also get damage bonus to ship weapons in space combat.

wish it was a little more aesthetically pleasing, the one landing gear doesnt look like it could support the weight of the whole ship but i get this build is more function over form and its really fun to fly around so fast

I can confirm as of May 7 2024, that any save abroad your ship can and most likely will cause shield glitch problems, because I just had it happen on the Starborn ship, so I loss 5 hrs of gameplay of outpost building, because Bethesda can't fix this glitch that they specifically said they fixed!!!!

I did follow your advises today, I was toasted by 3 spacers with the frontier, with this build I take no damage alomost and I destroy ennemis in a few secs. Thanks a lot

I added these weapons once I maxed out Starship Design, and my Dragonfire II is now absolutely bugged beyond any and all utility. Can't move about inside, can't see or use the ship in space, and it just ends up crashing the whole game if I fast travel. I am so tired of this game, once I go through the Unity "NG" will mean no game, as I can't wait to be done with this.

I hate that the game wont let you catch your bounty, trade commodities, travel manually to each planet, and sit in a jail cell like the elder scroll games.😢😢

Seems like this bug is fixed with the new beta patch. I tried reproducing by saving on my ship, loading the save, and looking at the shield value. Shields stayed the same. So... I hope it's finally been fixed.
