    For L25 with piloting 4 use these parts: Helios 400 grav drive (L21), Fusor Dc 401 reactor 29 power (L20) (Piloting 4) (Class C), 2 x White dwarf 3015 (L24), 2 x Hope 6 Landing gear, 2 x titan 550 HE3 Fuel, 28T defender shield (L24), Hopetech cape A4 weapon mounts, W1 = 3x Ravager 20MeV (L12), W2 = 3 x Eradictor 75 MeV (L25), W3 = PB100 Auto Electron beam (L16). You can build this ship with the alternate reactor at Level 25 if you have piloting level 4.

    Just an FYI, the Z-Machine 3000 reactor isn't available at level 30. I went with the Ion Beam H-1020, which has 4 less power, but is available.

    I love EM weapons. My evil character doesn't even have targeting, but has a ship with only EM weapons. I disable most ships without ever even taking down their shields. Then then go in and slaughter everything with his dagger. It's fun for the entire family.

      What do you do with multiple enemies? You can’t capture unless there is only 1 ship left. Without ship targeting, are you locking onto the ship and what does it disable? Everything?

      @@grimmlinn why can't you? I capture ships with more than one enemy all the time. Maybe it's supposed to be that way but I do it so... But if it was something I was struggling with I would add turrets to the sides and back that way it destroys every ship except the one I am focusing on. I've thought about that when I make a large base ship for that character. So far the small one has done just fine though.

      @@IIITangentIII It was my understanding that you never got the option to dock unless there are no other ships left but perhaps a disabled ship does not count.
      When you fire on the ship, without targeting a specific part, does it disable the whole ship?

      @@grimmlinn it disables different things. I'm pretty sure it operates like targeting but without targeting. In other words if you're behind a ship and you're shooting the engines those will be the first to be disabled but I find that I shut down a lot of the ship pretty quickly. Once the engines are shut down I could always move on and shut down another ship if I wanted to. I've definitely been battling multiple people and as soon as I get the dock option I dock. The other enemies just aren't there when I'm done. Like I said it wouldn't be very difficult to just put turrets on the sides and back if it was a problem. Even with low power they would eventually take out other ships.

      @@grimmlinn also I've noticed that content creators say a lot of things without actually verifying the truth of them. Not that I'm implying that was the case in this situation, but I've heard many times that you can't shut down a ship without taking the shields down first so you might as well just use lasers. I almost always shut down a ship before the shields go down. There's just a lot of bad information out there, and until more time is spent figuring things out we won't know for sure what the truth is. Especially since Bethesda doesn't really provide any information.

    I suped up the UC Prison Shuttle and made it my ship snatcher.
    Kept the color scheme for the irony. It's like an insane clown posse version of ship snatcher.

    After watching your ship videos i want to thank you for pointing out the select all function in ship builder. Thats arguably a bigger time saver than some of the mods people keep giving verbal felatio to. I wanted to bring two other functions to your attention, likely you are aware of them but i didnt really notice you using them. 1- CTRL+G, duplicates the module that youre hovering with mouse. 2- [F] and [R] navigate the vertical plane of the builder. [F] drops you down one level and [R] up. These arent as revolutionary as the select all but to quote a meme, "its not much but its honest work." Keep up the great work.

    Thank you for the ship videos. I would really like to see a ship that can do a little bit of everything for Level 60+ people. That way we can have some cargo without swapping ships and still be able to complete missions/defend ourselves.

    Made one too, looks much worse, uses more engines, but has a really nice interior that has everything thnx to the ares bridge (not my fav, but saves space cause it has 8 crew slots and I really wanted to bring more than 6 crew , more for RP). Made my interior make so much sense, I'm amazed I even thought of it, but the outside looks like crap, at least for now, gonna make it look better once I remember where to find specific parts, I forgot their locations. Like my ship has an armory/brig, but I'd wanna move that to the side, like its a detachable part of the ship, trouble is I forgot where the thing is that connects 2 habs with a longer hallway, or maybe I just can't see it in the menus cause I'm blind. (not the intersection one)

    On a side note figured out that you can avoid the annoying space ladder game by having a hab with a navigation console/table connected to your landing bay. Can go direct to map in a somewhat more immersive manner than tab menu

    FYI there is an even better/easier docking sequence that prevents *either* ship from departing before you can re-dock:
    1. neutralize engines on target ship as you outline
    2. dock with target ship
    3. kill crew of target ship
    4. sit in pilot chair of target ship
    5. undock from your (original) home ship while piloting the target ship
    6. re-dock to your home ship
    7. enter the ship menu and make the target ship your home ship *while still docked*
    8. get up from the pilot chair of your target (now current home) ship and "walk" to the hatch, etc. that connects to your original home ship
    9. board your original home ship via the hatch
    10. sit in the pilot chair of your original home ship
    11. enter the ship menu and make your original home ship your home ship again
    12. *now* undock from the target ship
    13. target ship flies away as expected
    Note that steps 1-5 are the same as in your video, but by doing step 6 *before* you change your home ship designation, you need *never* be worried about having to "beat the clock" to re-dock before the other ship departs :)

    How do you know what weapons do and how they behave? Is it just by trying them out , or does reading about them in the ship builder tell you anything.

    I'm on Xbox n after you targeted / locked on ship?
    How did you get into that one spot where you can changed ships n registered the ship menu???

      when you open the ship menu and you're inside captured ship you can make it home and after that register, you must be inside the ship you want to register

    So great build I copied exactly but my PAR is 34 51 56. Yours is 46 71. 78 right to left. I cant figure out why i built it exactly like yours. Any help. Thout maybe you unlocked more skills maybe. Thanks for any help.

      Thanks I did do the first upgrade on the perk for the weapons and power went up so think just need to max out the perk and should be good. May also need to find a crew that helps with weapons Thanks for your help

    Just a heads up: IF you kill the 2 guards with Ron Hope in his Mission, the guards at the HooeTech Vendor will always be hostile from then on.

      Killing Ron Hope seems to be enough. I EMed Ron Hope and the guards he had with him (because they started trying to kill me). The game would not let me progress however without me murdering the unconscious Ron Hope, rather than bringing him in unconscious to face the law. (This is a MAJOR flaw in quest design!) So after much anguish, and about an hour of trying anything else, I finally murdered him the way the game wanted me to. The guards I left unconscious. Plenty of other guards fired on me on my way out, so I rust ran through them without firing on any of the others. Now, weeks further into the game, if I go into Hope headquarters, the workers start to run away and the guards start firing. I'm fine outside the building mind you.

    OK so you're using mods here, the vanilla game wo'nt let you put that much firepower on ships.

      @@angryturtlegaming You have 6 weapons, it's about 18 power needed, the game gives an error message soon as i exceed 12 max power not allowing me to finish the build.
      how do you do that without mods ?
