23:52 you can adjust everything under display and first option „edit“ hud. 35:39 These guys run a lot tc and really high abs i believe. I dont understand but i know each time i went back from porsche gt3 to lmu porsche, specially now short race at sebrings, it reminded me why i like lmu more :D Also that penalty is not „human“ like. 0.003sec gained… thats brutal. 42:44 hahahah this is „shorts“ material herr hHaha
Tires are a little bit warmed to around 50°C in every race when their is no full formation Lap 😉
Yeah thats what I thought too, they dont feel ice cold indeed when braking for T1. Still low on temperature though but not cold
Quick question - do you use the base TC or do you turn it off? Its base at like 7 I think. Ty 4 any input seems like im always 2-3 sec off p1 pace in all 3 categories.
Depends for which cars. Hypercars surely 7 or even more, on the Porsche I used TC 2 Cut 2 Slip 6

Lean against the seat for more support. Its not about 1 lap it was about doing 2700+ in total.

you look like hard focused on the race but strugglin with that hidden smile over the face..just looked like you‘re enjoying these clean close race fights more then a win if there is no one to challenge?
For sure such a situation is rewarding when there is no one else to race with. However, from a results focused PoV I am happy for any race without action haha.

Hi Michi, looks like your learning these hypercars very quickly. I installed LMU a few days ago and still getting the feel of these cars. I like the Lmp2 car, slower but seems to have more realistic feedback with the road to me. I'm no expert. Looking forward to the day when Steam workshop mods are introduced like in Rf2. In Rf2 i love taking the Porsche gt3 for a lap around the Jim Pearsons Isle of Man track. It takes a lot of practice to not kill yourself, the road surface feels awsome too. learn a lot watching you drive. Thanks.
Ah, I have just went into wrong directions with the Setup I assume. Car is now feeling well for that one. The LMP2 car is I think very very great when it comes to FFB and car movement and its display on the FFB. Sadly, I think you cannot mod LMU in the future. I dont think its "open source" like rF2. and Last but not Least I appreciate you coming for this channel and take some benefit away from it! thats great feedback. Thank you for that.
With the ability to get online now in VR I have spent more hours on this. All being in practice, not wanting to race with the current VR hud restrictions and lack of AA. Getting more dialed in, my initial view has changed, it is indeed an improvement on RF2. I am feeling the subtle initial break in grip front or rear under braking. Making braking modulation instinctive. Something which many are reporting the opposite of which I find odd. DD1 wheel base with 100% power, tiny bit of damp at base. 40% in SIM with zero smoothing.
Great to hear that you enjoy LMU more and more and think it is a considerable improvement to rf2. I think that is part of the issue, people are using smoothings or other filters. Whilst I generally agree on the FFB sometimes to be a bit dull and not inuitive, I still think it kind of points well enough at the cars behaviour in order to consider it a good FFB all around.
Came here to look if i wasn’t in your way ^^ i noticed you in the race, i was in the corvette (Daniel Zillek) you lapped like 20 times xD i was last of all the surviving cars hahaha
Hahah nice. Tbh I dont remember any GTE being bad, so I dont think you were in my way. However, there was one LMP2 that was a constant threat IMO :D

Guten Morgen, also ich muss sagen es war ein interessantes rennen gewesen. Wie dicht doch 4 Marken beisammen waren am Start. Ich persönlich find fuji Layout sehr cool und tricky. Was ich an Fuji nicht mag ist das man so schnell den Grip verliert, erinnert mich an Suzuka. Das der Pit limiter raus flog ist zwar doof gewesen, hast dich doch sehr gut wieder nach vorne gekämpft. Der schupser vom Peugeot war ärgerlich, aber bei der engen pace passiert es leider immer wieder mal hehe. Bin gespannt wie du dich mit einem anderen Auto hier schlägst. Hab schönen Tag wir sehen uns im nächsten Stream
Ich hab leider gar nicht ehr in den Tritt gefunden. Muss mal schauen ob ich ein anderes Fahrzeug nehme, oder wie ich mit dem BMW da in den Tritt komme das nächste mal
@@MichiHoyer ja muss sagen der BMW ist auch sehr untersteuernd viel Lupfen und Rollen lassen.

Hey there, not really. Just that the way fuel is calculated has changed a bit as you now dial in a l/% ratio to fuel up the car - so you set 60 % at 0,90 l/% and then you get 60 % NRG and 54l of fuel

Yes I do, since the friction of the driveshaft is slowing the car faster down and the fuel burn to let the engine idle to keep it running is neglectable

@@MichiHoyer Sorry to interrupt again. How do you achieve 100% braking without locking up? When I brake, the rear always locks up first, and my brake bias is 56. I tried to use the same braking point as you, but I definitely can’t stop in time. Your braking technique is too good.
It depends, when the cars are extremly quick the downforcelevel is sufficient for maximum brake, but you need to start easing off the brake early enough.
What are you using to find your ARB to your steering wheel? Thank you great run sir
I have buttons mapped for up/down selection for the MFD and I am clicking on the wheels buttons to operate the ARBs - is that what you are refering to?
