The only thing I hate about this is in rf2 you can mount your dials on your wheel for tc and engine mood. Because these dials can flick around to like 10 different positions now the tc mapping here is just increase or decrease. So it become 2 different buttons
@MichiHoyer fr2 have like 12 different settings in the settings menu under tc. In LMU it's only 2. So with a switch going around it doesn't work. It only work with a rotary that has 2 positions forward and backwards.
Sorry for asking this basic question but the old rF2 Cheese cars / LMU Safety Car what is the purpose of these? To avoid lag for drivers who are driving or GPU memory? Thanks Michi, your tutorials are the 👍
Unlike iRacing or other sims neither rFactor 2 or LMU is loading opponent vehicles while you are out running. It only does that when you enter the garage (rf2) or leave the garage (LMU) - in rF2 it shows that cheese taxi cab, here at least a default Porsche RSR model. Itnot optimal but the loading of other vehicles causes screen freezes and thats of course a bad thing.
Surely there must be a setting to save profiles for different wheels? What a pain if you want to use a different wheel rim only to have to go through all the settings. Very stupid i think
Thank you for the guide. The issue I am having is setting my pedal inputs (CSL Elite pedals). My moza r5 works fine out of the box, but when I went to set my pedal inputs they were identical to my steering inputs. I believe turn right was bound to x+, but when inputting throttle it also showed x+. Any idea on why that might be the case?
Do you have a chance to change the allocation of the axis in your windows settings maybe? could be an issue with that. If not then report this please here: community.lemansultimate.com/index.php?forums/bug-reports.16/
When trying to change my FOV with the controls, it started to change the pitch all of the sudden and now it's back to the fov but I got like +25 pitch, I'm litteraly looking at the roof.... oh and their is no option to reset the camera...I have 2 hours of gameplay and haven't done a single lap yet... now I will need to uninstall and wish tthat they dont savees the camera settings... really fun game
I play with keyboard and the steering sensitivity is so high it turns the steering wheel all the way in a fraction of a second no matter what speed you are driving with. I tried to lower the steering responsiveness but i failed to do so as if it is unavailable for me. I'm totally frustrated and disappointed. Can anyone help me with this?
you may need to go to the player folder and check the sensitivity in the controllersettings.json files. It appears to be that the ingame one has disappeared or is not working. I think the less sensitivity the longer it takes for full input. Not sure though as i have never used that.

Do you change it on the advanced tab or on the "fast settings" on the summary page? To me when I go into advanced tab for race settings (also where real road setting setc are) there I can set race length minute per minute up to the maximum. There should be a known issue where the summary page shows different values but actually does like 3 / 6 / 12 / 24 h for le mans e.g.)@@Olly602

Its the same as in rF2. In rF2 you could set up dials aswell and I have set up my dials for the TC buttons!

Im afraid thats not possible at the moment. Important to ask for this feature in the feedback tabs of the official webpage forums.

Then you had another button pressed at the same time. Let me know whcih one - must have been shift, or CTRL or ALT GR or any of these special buttons
@@MichiHoyer I swear I was only pressing the button to increased the FOV and it changed the pitch but the decrease button was still doing the FOV...

No you can do up to 24h right now ;) but without driver swaps at the minute it is a bit pointless of course.
