Registrace 8. 10. 2021
Hello from the Biesingers (Bee-singers)! I am Jordan Biesinger and in this channel, I share my family's journey to financial freedom with tips on ways to better understand and manage money!
Both my wife, Shan, and I are passionate about taking control of our finances and making wise money decisions. We are a family of four pursuing FIRE.
We purchased our first real estate property at age 21, became first-time landlords at age 22 as college students, and worked hard to graduate student debt-free with my MBA at Washington State University.
We have many other diversified investments and are excited to share more with you in our channel.
Our goal is to reach FIRE (financial independence retire early) and help others do the same. Some of our experiences include getting out of debt, investing in real estate, tax advantage accounts, and much MORE!

You didn't leave a link in the description like you promised 👎
I tried both of them and they have pros and cons even if the pros are bigger in both... The most important thing to know is that you can easily fly to another place for a weekend or vacation.
Very true!! Love this idea! 😃
I agree with everything you said. I’m a Filipino myself and went there to visit and to be honest, traffic is so bad, internet sucks, hot and humid weather, don’t trust where the meat and vegetables are from, very stinky in the province because everybody have pigs and shits smells are all over the place, the rich people can have roasters about 2 to 300 croaking EVERY SINGLE FREAKING MORNING STARTING AT MIDNIGHT. I had to have another vacation after coming back in the States
This voice over is so annoying. Sounds like a robot on overdrive.
Wonderful 5 key guide living in KL using your social security benefits.
If you have a $2000 monthly pension and a frugal spender. It will be more than enough to live comfortably in a province. With that amount, you can even visit its neighboring countries.
Yes!! That's a great example. :)
which city has better hospitals and cheaper healthcare?
The quality of healthcare overall in Malaysia is very impressive. In both Penang and KL, you can find fantastic hospitals, but KL being a bigger city will have more to choose from. As for cost, it'll come down to your insurance type but things like doctor visits, filling prescriptions, etc. tend to be very affordable. :)
How much is monthly transport pass? How much cars cost to buy and insurance price ?
Hope that you guys have had a good time and a pleasant stay in KL. Somehow I feel that you can get a better place to stay near KLCC for the same price.
Penang is the BEST!!! Best food and best people!! I live there for 2 years... and love the place!!
That’s so awesome!! 👏 😀 I’m jealous!
What is the theory here? Age 26 is still very young and should continue working instead of retiring. Total assets should be 4 times of $500k to retire at this age in Malaysia. Don’t forget family of 4. Probably less than 8 years, go back US to work. Good luck
Penang, The Pearl of the Orient is best to retire👍🏻👏🏻😊
Not a big deal for those hv hefty sum of money😊
finally mm2h open to apply again =)
I think it would be wise for the authority to allow MM2H visa holders to conduct business in Malaysia as that would spur employment and thus stimulating local economy. Perhaps there is another class or category for business investment visa that Iam not aware of.
Thank you for the MM2H history and update.
Penang is more suitable for aged people and KL is more vibrant and suitable for younger generations. It depends on your needs and preferences.😊
Good info ❤
Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it 😊
I'll let you in on an unspoken practice of rent-a-food "tumpang makan" , "tarp sic"(not advertised ; ask around). Caterers cater to events. These mid-range restaurants on the other hand cater meals to households(Say RM520/ 20-day or monthly basis , outside of KL(5 , 6days to the week.)(for 1meal 2pax Ipoh,Penang,Melaka,Seremban, Rawang?))(KL , PJ? +addRM80-110.) 2sets tiffin per meal (i.e. lunch and dinner approx. 4sets tiffin ), on you. Cleaning the tiffin on you. Delivered his time. Typically Chinese and Malay. (It's purely a rice meal .. not much choices .. damm convenient , though.) Then again , the "local" sundry and seperately the local wet grocer will deliver for RM2 or 4 bread milk stove gas(stove repairs) rice and padi , sugar Milo bread "santan"coconut milk , jam butter mutton fish poultry , cooking oil. His time. Among the guys making a din on tarmac is a "vegetable man" wet grocer , parked 1 or 2 blocks from your unit(morning).(Unlike the West)The market also comes to you in the pasar malam and another pasar minggu(ask around for the ones nearest to you). Hope this info helps.😉 Somewhat anthropplogical , pre dates Grab and Panda.
If you are young, KL is the better choice. Penang has a retirement feel to the city. Not the best place for younger people but then again to each their own.
yeah always take advice from kids with acne
Definitely KL because Malaysians prefer cooling places such as Genting Highlands and KL is near to Genting Highlands. KL has amazing varieties of food including top class Arab food, top class shopping malls, top class rooftop bars, nearby waterfalls at Kanching, a centre hub for air travel with the most flights much more than Penang. Also KL is closer to Melaka if you wish the Unesco vibe and lastly KL is a few hours drive to Singapore. Singapore is the most expensive place to own a car and fyi a ferrari cost 4 times of that in the US. Singaporeans who wish to pay for sports cars or fast cars (Mercedes, BMW sedans etc) can't try out their fun on a highway in Singapore due to the strict law and the only highway they could try their thrill is from Singapore to KL which is 430km and the final drive from KL to Genting Highlands is the best track for Singaporeans and Malaysians. (From Singapore)
I ❤ Penang. Lay back and cheaper 👍
Penang my hometown😊
Choose KK or Kuching much more liberated and reasonable
Hotel name for your reference 😃 - Loop on Leith
PENANG ISLANDS MORE CHEAPER THAN KUALA LUMPUR CITY
My fiancé and I visited Malaysia for the first time earlier this year, only KL. Fantastic city, wish we could've stayed longer. We plan to go back and Penang will be a must-see.
That’s still awesome you got to see KL! Definitely visit Penang though, a different yet good vibe 👍 😃
Terengganu
Ok, good, I just bought my ocean view condo in Penang.... LOL
For reals!? That’s so cool. 😊
@@BiesingerFIREJourney Yup, true. Once I saw water from left to right on that balcony how could I resist? Sold!!!!
Only the most virgin Pacific Ocean 🌊 water 💦 that enters the Philippines and exits to various Asian countries due to the rotation of the earth 🌍🌎. Love the Philippine beaches. Same is true about air.
I pick penang. Cheaper.
Kelantan and Trengganu is the best best to retire. They've a laid back lifestyle, beautiful island, they still maintain they're traditional Malay customs, the people are friendly and more ,
Only for conservative Muslims
@@Hasanaljadid For all
you're right! I'm now stay in Terengganu. Cheaper, balance with lots of amazing nature place & not too far from KL. Really love Malaysia overall. I've moved here since 2018
Great info!
Thanks, I'm very happy that you enjoyed the video. Wishing you all the best. :)
Both cities are wonderful for retirement.
Agreed! 🙌
@@BiesingerFIREJourney 😀
Well, my suggestion is Penang as I'm Penangite, Lol 😁 Penang is surrounded by sea and lifestyle is almost same as KL the only thing is the path is slower unlike KL. Furthermore like what you mentioned if wanna go to kl by flight only 45 min and by driving only 4-5 hours, and when all the way to KL you can stop at Taiping, Ipoh those places are amazing too.
Thanks for your comment! There is so much to love about Penang and Malaysia as a whole. 😃
Don't know you'll ever get around to seeing this comment, however, the reason you are not getting many views is your tags, they are all about everything BUT reasons to retire in the philippines. The analytics dont know what type of channel you're promoting.
If I were to retire in Malaysia, Penang would be my only choice.
We loved Penang ❤
If I were to retire in Malaysia, Penang would be the only place I would choose.
Constant heat is bad, humidity is worse. The other con is the blaring of call for prayers from local mosques. That said, I enjoy vacationing in Penang for its culture and food.
Love the idea of coasting to retirement.
See-boo
That's really clever! 💡
I live in California and I am not ok… we are not ok lol
Hang in there! A lot of people from Cali have moved to Utah where I’m from originally
It sounds like a great place but I'm sure it's not so simple to retire there as a foreigner (like in Bali). Do you know how much money is needed in your bank account in order to retire in Malaysia as a foreigner? I heard you need quite a large sum of money in your bank account in order to maintain your MM2H visa (long term visa for foreigners) as proof of your financial independence.
Wowwww...super affordable hotel
❤❤❤❤❤
Penang really great place. But may try Taiping or Ipoh. Calm and slow pace town, but with the best medical facilities. And the best part a long great railway facilities to north and south, easy to KL, thailand and singapore
I’ve definitely got to visit Taiping or Ipoh next time, thanks for your comment friend. 😊
Penang is too crowded; Langkawi is more suitable for retirement, it's more relax and detached from the rest of the world, tax free too
Thanks for you suggestion! I will add it to my places to visit. 😊
Pls go for sabah and sarawak mm2h
