That exhaust resonance wobble I've heard in reality, it's practically identical to something someone's running in my neighborhood at about 3AM a few dozen times a summer.

I like the blue print look, I hope something like it makes it into the Engine Simulator. Because I imagine myself as an Engine designer and I like the idea of producing blueprints of what I can make. Also I think you should animate the flame 🔥 icon to complement the steam animation.

Honestly, the low audio quality mode actually still sounds pretty good. Nice one dude! And congrats on having BeamNG himself as a patreon supporter, you deserve it. (And think about it, this program can also function as engine sound preservation as electic cars are becoming more of a thing nowadays)

oh you're still working on this? cool. by what blasphemous reason are you still only sporting a 8700k? with how great this thing is i'd think you'd already have been showered in enough budget to build a personal super computer. i mean i've seen your software featured in a bunch of random car shows already just as a tool, not the subject of the video.

I still come back to this video every few days just to listen to that sound at 15:46. It's incredible to the point where it's not the nerd in me that is getting excited, but the petrol head

Holy crap, I know you're constantly earing the simulation and testing but the Hayabusa sound already is million times better. No wonder it not free on cpu processing power. 😮 As a professional musician let me tell you this: Nice job. Edit: Oh yeah forgot to mention. This new sim has potential to be used in custom exhaust houses both for bikes and cars, so costumers or shops can have a preview of what the bike or car may sound. Would gladly buy a copy of the software 😊👍

This is insanely cool. The future of sim racing and sound generation lies here. Next step ideas (as a car guy I guess): simulation of variable intake headers (like the mazda 787B), carburetors (the unperfect flow sound), and turbocompressor sound (recreating the whistle would be amazing). thank you for your time invested in this, you're a genius

from the waveform shape (no idea how engines worked till i started looking at these amazing videos) i speculate that a simple - cruder approach would be to use Phase Modulation synthesis (for a physically informed rather that a detailed physical model as this) .. amazing work ! jaw dropped :)
