Coming back to this six years later because it's still one of the most satisfying videos and I still despise her

I know this is likely an incredibly small note in the overall video.. But regarding the English vs original Japanese singing starting after around the 11:11 mark.. It really isn't a completely fair comparison. The English dubbed version is an acapella, there's literally no instrumentation. It's only singing with some reverb at times. Then the Japanese version has some light paddy synths and soft keys playing in the background. And also has some reverb on the vocals. That being said, I do not personally feel that had the English version been given instrumentation, would I enjoy it as much as I do the Japanese version.. The assessment in the video was very accurate imo, it just sounds like random English words thrown/mashed together.. I think the reason why is multi-syllable words and often not rhyming. And this is coming from a person, for what it's worth, that very often prefers English dubs of things, a vast majority of the time. And often even things people complain and joke about "how bad/unbearable the English voice acting is", I don't mind. Now, I don't consider those performances favorites by any means, but I guess I'm just saying I both prefer as well as tolerate English dubbed voice acting in this kind of stuff, a lot more than the average person, it seems.. But even then, that song was just uncomfortable to sit through.. That's just my subjective opinion, though. What is objective and factual, however, is that it's kinda just an unfair comparison to make, as I said, since one is an acapella vs a version with instrumentation. It's kind of an apples and oranges comparison in that case. If this problem lies with the company for causing it to be that way? Sure, I guess, assuming it really is different between the versions in the way represented in the video.

I actually like the anime version. I think the hearts were a great way to censor the scene for a television broadcast. Because the anime is shown on television, they have to follow the laws on certain content and these laws vary from written content. There are quite a few scenes over the years that have been censored. However, I do think the anime could have chosen a better song and sound effects.

I guess what makes Ash different from other anime MCs is that he sucks. Yugi, Goku, Guts, Kenshiro, and JoJo just to name a few are basically unstoppable

to me theres a lot of reasons to hate her, but the main one is SHE DOESNT SHUT THE FUCK UP EVER. every time you have to do story shit, and you chose or have to do other missions in order to grind, every fucking time you come back to HQ she reminds you of the story mission you have to do, EVERY GODDAMN TIME YOU FAST TRAVEL TOO, its like whomever wrote this character and decided her to be the "navi" of this game has a special place in hell reserved for him/her.

Atlas has so much potential for this series outside of 3,4and 5. And even with those numbered titles, there is still so much that we can benefit from. There are lots of books left untranslated. I think the West is ready for Persona. I think there is a massive fan base that just wants more.

Great video! I know I'm 2 years late, but so many questions left unanswered in the games are answered in the novels: Quantum Devil Saga! As great as the novels are, they are incredibly inaccessible due to 3/5 of them being untranslated and getting your hands on physical copies will cost you an arm and a leg. It basically tells the same story, but with many minor details changed/explained. And it's super gay for some reason.
