Yes I have played it and many trucking games before it. My favorite when it was current was Hard Truck 2. It was much more arcade then simulation though. As for this game, I feel about the same way as you do. You are just driving endlessly but something about it is enjoyable. It is nothing I'd want to play all the time but firing it up every now and again is fun. As for playing it with a steering wheel it is still going to be the same game. I used to have a Logitech Driving Force GT. Some games were fun with it but it wasn't worth dragging it out and setting it up every time I wanted to use it. I would recommend using an Xbox 360 wired controller on the PC vs a keyboard.

Yeah I was thinking about that too. Like taking out that huge steering wheel and it being a pain to set up, defeats the purpose for a relaxing game.
