All I gotta say is wow. I really suck at starting seeds and getting plants started, but I'm really trying to force that skill and figure it out. These places bring me to be speechless because they've got it down to a science that doesn't fail. Gosh it's amazing. I want to be given an all you can take shopping spree inside these places to get as many plants as I can.

If you were to keep planting tomatoes in those same holes, without adding anything, I would almost guarantee there would be a moment when the other holes continued producing and the "nothing" hole began to stunt due to a lack of nutrients. All you're doing is creating "compost" within the dirt. You should have dumped these things 2-4 weeks before planting. The results would have been vastly different. Fun video either way. "Just use compost" - unless you made it yourself, you do not know what was used in someone else's compost. Doing it this way keeps the soil fertile and you know EXACTLY what was put in it.

I had a 2 year old ghost pepper that was a little over 4ft tall. I moved it inside in the winter under a strong grow light it was my favorite plant but one summer it got infested with these little bugs that just destroyed it :'(

Before I plant, I always collect fallen limbs and branches and have a nice bonfire. Then, under each tomato, pepper, cucumber, etc. I put maybe a cup of ashes from the bonfire.

For one person maybe it works. For a family there just isn't the volume needed to grow salads regularly. Figure you're eating 4 or 5 salads a week for 3 or 4 people... You'd need at least a few of these I'd think, and that's getting very expensive.

Wow the pronunciations are mind-boggling. Also the first plant tastes like cabbage and not like gasoline. It actually tastes exactly like cabbage.

hard to say all fertilizers are the same. if something is a 2-9-4 leafy growth is not a thing. or even ones that are 0-4-1 should not increase leafy growth. then again organic fertilizers typically are more in the 4-4-4 or 11-5-7 range. that can cause the extra leafy growth.

Witches Broom took out 6 roses late Summer and Fall and I had never heard of it before (and have had roses for probably 10 years). Is there any cure? Such a bummer. I have been told it is a lost cause. :-(((
