Love ur collection. My prolific bloomer is my kri kle 8. But I got a real surprise when a new (acquired almost a yr ago) baby looks like a long trailing obVato bloomed. I had just taken a cutting, and I really don't like to do that to mine. But the cutting is doing well.

TIP: To help arrange fiddly plants (lots of vines, for example, or plants with long, floppy stems) I use rubber bands (or string and tape) to divide the top of the container in quarters or ninths, depending on the size of the pot and roots, and place the plants and substrate through those quadrants. Once I'm happy with how everything's positioned, I remove the rubber bands/strings.

Someone gave me a hoya, i gave it some fertilizer and it bloomed a lot.

I got scammed by someone using shopify to sell plants. Did not get the plant, did not get a refund or response from shopify.

Lacunosa is such a prolific bloomer! It's one of only three I have that have bloomed, and it's almost constant in spring and summer. I have no idea where people got that it smells like cinnamon. It reminds me of lilies, but not so overpowering. My other bloomers are shepherdii and heuschkeliana. The shepherdii was very lightly scented, if at all, and the heuschkeliana smelled very sweet, like some kind of dessert or vanilla frosting.

I Am SOOO Obsessed with this plant. I swear I can NOT stop touching these leaves. They are soft, furry and as hard as cardboard. Best way I can describe, is like cardboard, (When it is not dehydrated, cardboard). OBSESSED. TY for the info.

I just water by the soil. My environment. I would say is around 26 Degrees. If the soil is dried you dont find it helpful to water it at that point? I feel like if it is left then the leaves will dry out.

Hoyas in Winter in TN. Its 21° here this morning. What can I do to #1 not kill it, #2 get them to bloom. I've got the right light. Just got mine last summer. I so want them to live and grow in TN I had one in CA that was AWESOME. Hope i get to see your answer.

Fungus gnats get out your vacuum and its attachment, start sucking up the ones you see…. Helps to instantly cut down the population while you’re working at trying to control it. Love 💗 your Hoya collection!

My Hoya is huge, about a foot tall and in a circular form about 8 inches through. Much to my regret it has never bloomed in 3 years that I have been growing it. I do no know the variety but it could not be more beautiful with thick leaves and new growth all the time. It is close to my favorite plant only being in competition with my huge Clivia lily that has bloomed non stop for the past year with is not typical with this lily. My Hoya has only to bloom to make me extremely happy. I have an east facing sun porch that is home to 12 very large plants that I call GODS Garden. They are all beautiful in their own right.

I transition burl Marx variegated from leca to soil cause it’s outgrown the pots and it shocked. A lot of yellow leaves. Any tips?
