Totally agree on the old-school green carnosa. That thing is almost bullet proof. I was just thinking about this same subject the other day and vote highly for pubicalyx. It's a really fast grower and one other positive thing I have noted about it is that it doesn't seem to be quite as susceptible to mealy bugs. I've had mealy bug for quite some time now and oddly the pubicalyxes seem to not be a favorite of those horrid bugs. I'm new to macrophylla. I read a post recently that said they may enjoy a more alkaline soil and eggshells may benefit that preference.
Can you also add on you video on how to make the circle thingy that you attach the Hoyas? Dont know what its called. Thank you. Newbie with Hoya too. Love all your detailed info.
Always love love love Hoya videos! But if I may put in a request, I would love a video about calatheas, ctenanthes etc. and maybe peperomias (I got 6 peperomia caperatas in last 2 weeks)
Thanks! I’m definitely not as knowledgeable about those plants. I have a few marantas and calatheas, but only a couple Peperomias. I’ll see what I can put together ☺️
In Verona was very easy to find the Hoya carnosa krisson queen, h. Krisson princess both di australis Lisa and the regular. Yours video are very helpful thank you 😘
Hi! Many of my hoyas are in LECA, but those that are in soil are mostly fine grade orchid bark and a little Black Gold potting mix. I can do a video about it soon. 💕
Excellent video!! Very enjoyable with lots of good information!! Well done! 👌💚🌿
This helps, in israel you certainly mentioned mostly easily available kinds!!
Great list, Thanks!!!
Hoya Australis. Cheap, easy to find, prolific growers!
I just got my first Hoya! It’s a Krimson Princess and I love it!
This is a great list! All pretty easy to find hoya!
Thanks!!
I have a hoya carnosa it grows like crazy I want to expand my hoya collection. Thanks for sharing

Good to hear about the pubicalyx. And good luck with the macrophylla!
Hi Sarah, just checking on you, I see those fires going on at Colorado and I'm praying you and your family are safe.
Thanks. We are not near the current fires, but thanks for checking in. It’s been a crazy year here for sure!

Hello love your video. What is the soil mix you use for the hoyas?
