Hoya Kentiana 'Variegata' | Happy Hoya-days: Day 11 | Vlogmas 2020

I've had quite the adventure trying to get a hold of the Hoya Kentiana 'Variegata", but now that I have it, it's an absolute stunner. Shipping can be a challenge with this plant, but once established it's a pretty easy grower.

Yayyy, I bought one of these sold as “tropical plant” and has thinner pointy leaves than wayetii and pink stems so hoping its kentiana

Great information as always, I’m glad I’m not the only one who mixes up the wayetti and the kentiana. I have both and they are so easy care, and just like you stated they aren’t too fussy about humidity, just keep them under grow lights especially in winter and to maintain the variegation 🥰

I have one. I kinda went through the same thing trying to get this plant. I also ended up with the string bean type you did. However I do have her now. Very beautiful

I call mine Kenti-etti. Mine has pink-ish stems with dark, almost black margins on the leaves. Supposedly the dark margins mean a wayettii, but the pink stems mean Kentiana. Its just Frankensteins' monster really! But I am no mad scientist, I can't figure her out!
