    I have the caudata gold, but the stem isn't fuzzy. I hope it's okay and starts growing soon. So far, nothing, but the two leaves I've got are gorgeous.

    do you do anything special for its humidity care?

    • @TropicalPlantGirl
      @TropicalPlantGirl  Před 3 lety

      Nope. Most of my plants are in the 40-50% room humidity and do just fine.

    Is this the same as caudata Samatra?

    • @TropicalPlantGirl
      @TropicalPlantGirl  Před 3 lety +1

      There are subtle differences in caudatas. I believe the one I have is Caudata Borneo (based on the flowers).

    • @TropicalPlantGirl
      @TropicalPlantGirl  Před 3 lety +1

      Colorado. This was an average taken based around Etsy pricing and in BST groups on Facebook though.

    do you consider it easy?

    • @TropicalPlantGirl
      @TropicalPlantGirl  Před 3 lety

      I’d say it’s on the easier side for anyone who understands basic Hoya care but not one I’d recommend for beginners to Hoya just because of the price. Maybe an intermediate Hoya.

      They say this one really likes to be in a warm room. My other hoyas can tolerate 55-60 degrees but this one will die easily with that. It requires at least 70 degrees. Is it true?
