On 28 October 2020, I was fortunate enough to be in Russia with a fellow enthusiast and we were able to make it to Mirny at very short notice (having just arrived in Tobolsk by train to join a scheduled An-2 flight) to join Alrosa's very last flight of the Tupolev Tu-154M. There was only one possible itinerary that would get us from Tobolsk to Mirny, arriving only 40 minutes before the Tu-154's...

Worked for Airlift International part time while in the Air Force in Japan. Had 2 B-727-100s based there. Worked them hard and they did the job. Great airplane.

3/6/2024: Hello from The Future. I was born in 1952 and have flown since I was a baby. My father worked for American Airlines & eventually retired from BOAC/BA. He was with them through both Names. I've flown on Convairs, DC-6 & Electra 2, Prop planes & Vickers Viscount. 707 Jets also. This is an Excellent video and brings back some old and loving memories. Love this airplane and That Sound!
