I have had good luck using Goo Gone for finishing off that decomposing rubber coating. It brings it down to the base plastic.
Nice collection there. Never had a PS2 myself, always been PC, but I had a few of those games on PC. Had all the WWII CoD games, plus the first Modern Warfare, on PC. Played them to death.

Oooh, CRT TVs are my jam! Finding a black and white TV with composite inputs is somewhat rare. For your TV, make sure the front and the side switches are both set to TV, the brightness knob is turned to about 3/4 of the way up, the contrast is set to half and you should get some snow on the screen if everything is working. Since the B/W picture tube has a solid phosphor layer instead of the colored pixels of a color CRT, these can get a really sharp picture out of those small screens.
Thanks for the advice. I did most of that in footage that I edited because I thought it was boring. I'll definitely revisit this tube when I have my multimeter handy.

Congratulations on 1K! As for video quality, do what you can afford, and want to do. You probably don't need to go down the rabbit hole of upgrade, upgrade, upgrade. Let the channel evolve as it needs to, and don't sweat the rest.

OMG that Executive Box, I have one of those too! I wouldn't get too fussed about quality, what you have is fine. Clear voice, no distortion, lighting works as expected. Don't let "perfect" get in the way of "good".

I have the rx6700xt but man its so horrible in helldivers 2. I wish i purchased nvidia instead. While 6700xt works well in most games, but it gives so much headache when it doesnt work. Sometimes i think its better to just pay nvidia for a peace of mind, knowing it will always work and give you a good experience.
6700 is like at 275$ rn !! no reason to not buy it
