*Editing Note: This card is really not a great deal. I don't recommend it, unless you really love the look. There are dozens of other cards that are slightly more expensive, which will perform better and are designed better. Thanks for watching.*
I actually got one of these today for a rgb build fishtank budget pc I'm building, Ive got this same basic rx580 off aliexpress before and for what they cost they are decent. Last rx580 I got off aliexpress was $58 they just take like a month to get, these actually are great cards in a budget build, will play just about every title at 60fps at 1080 and depending on the game way more, last one I had was running valorant at 300fps at max settings(easy game to run though) and was getting 100fps on fortnite with dx12 epic settings with a few setting in medium. The way I look at these for a budget build it's either this or a 1060 and I prefer these since it has 8g vram.
Ironically for me, the RGB is the first immediate turn-off. I'm not anti-dazzling-colors but some sort of control and ability to go dark is a must. Great review though! Thorough, objective and fair.
I agree 100% for a bit more $$ you can get much better performance + more OC potential, I bought a barely used 6600xt more than a year ago for 130$. Got my 6800xt used 2 years ago for 500$ it was basically brand new, the dude said he used it for 2 weeks before upgrading to a 3090 and indeed there was practically no dust on the card or fans or fins. Unfortunately it was the crappy founders edition so the OC potential is bad but got lucky with the silicon lottery and my card can run at 2500-2600Mhz at 980mV.
Got one myself for the ole lady's rig. We don't game often but I was able to run Hogwarts Legacy on med settings at 1440p. Cpu is i7-4770K with 32 gb of ram and m.2 sata ssd. I actually just ordered another for a backup pc I'm building. Great card for the price.
I wonder if one of these would fit and work in a Sandy Bridge Dell Inspiron. My HD7770 started freezing the OS with vertical lines when I started using 3 screens.
I mean I recommend it budget builds with a good motherboard this GPU will get you going and with style just leave your upgrade path with GPU first and it'll be fine
Yeah it's not bad, but I don't like that there's no cooling for most of the memory chips and it really shouldn't be labeled as "new". Everyone has to start somewhere. I'm slowly building a list of "white" budget parts. They always charge extra for white components.
Props to them for the aesthetics though. It does look very nice, and I was happy to see a nicely designed metal backplate on a $75 card. It just goes to show how cheap the Gigabyte and Co are really being, when they use plastic backplates.
None. If you only need 720p, I'd go with an APU. Any modern Ryzen APU can do 720p 60fps standing on it's head. (mostly older games, but some lightweight AAA games would do fine.) If you want the latest and greatest, get a Ryzen 5 8500G, but you'd be wasting money at your resolution. Get a 5000 series instead.
cual me recomiendan comprar ardiyes or XFX? no se cual comprar, ardiyes por un lado es mas barato, XFX me da la seguridad que es un poquito mejor y seguro
Hey man I saw you had 770 subs and I was like "why not make it one more" because I also create videos and I know how hard it is to get subs so i gave you one to help.
8:27 yet another reason I wouldn't buy a GPU with a painted backplate. Especially white, I mean you can see all the fingerprints AND cat hair and dust super easy. GOD help you if you smoke.
I have a suggestion for another video, take this very same card, MOD the SNOT out of it, do an overclock on it, and then run it in ACTUAL GAMES. Synthetics only tell me one thing, that the card in question has basic functionality. I don't "play" synthetics. Try 3 games. DOTA 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Star Wars: Empire at War (base game and two mods, Awakening of the Rebellion, and Thrawn's Revenge.) Why those? they are representative of the full spectrum of gaming, an esports game, an "AAA" game, and an older game with highly game changing mods. Then give them all detention and see if they discover who they are. 🤣🤣
I play cod and ohds and roblox and i make vids anyways cod is max but its working now that i got a new hard drive but its like not the best of the best for going pro.@@mattparker9726

LOL you overpaid for this card. It's probably a China Only variant, and I got mine for 66 bucks free shipping from Aliexpress. 2:42 TOLD YA!
examples?, who other cards you recomend man
@a.v.7035 right now I'd recommend the RX 6600 for $199.
@@50shadesofbeige88 Do you think is worth the 580, for the half of the price?, like 100 dls ish (and its my first pc btw)
5:24 about 10 years ago people started REALLY complaining about fan noise. Which is weird to me, I still like the sound of crunchy 5.25 floppies.

Lol thanks!
same, RGB puke doesn't make your rig have more performance. I like green PCBs and Beige cases, if it's faster.

At least it looks cool! RGB!
It does look sharp!
9:25 experimental bodge wires incoming?
10:48 mod in another heat pipe! make it WEIRD baby!
A regular Rx580, or this one, whos better? (Or it is the same thing?)
Regular RX 580 is better. This one has a 2048SP die. It is slightly less powerful..
What’s a great/perfect card for 720p in gaming?
None. If you only need 720p, I'd go with an APU. Any modern Ryzen APU can do 720p 60fps standing on it's head. (mostly older games, but some lightweight AAA games would do fine.) I would get the XFX model. It probably clocks higher and has the regular RX 580 instead of the 2048SP version.
How do you change rgb affects?
Unfortunately, you cannot change the RGB on this card.

4:32 if you run synthetics I'm going to scream at you in Lowcastle's chat tonight.

I guess this is what You call "custom refurbished".

Thanks for the sub!
... your welcome. Thanks for the great content.

Can you send me that gpu? If you don't mind. I just don't afford buying 1

I wish I had more subs so I can get a better gpu for my gaming channel because i am using this exact gpu
