awesome video, didn't know white color exists for budget GPU, also when you said some people prefer nvidia card. I was actually one of them, the VRAM size and the price is ridiculous, 8GB across multiple GPU. decided to go with RX 6700 XT, best decision I've made.
I just built a PC for my friend and customer and chose this card. It is silent it is cool looking and the performance has been amazing for the cost I think it's number one for mid to high mid builds
Is the RGB fully customizable in software or is there only a few lighting modes with specific colors? I'm building a pink PC for a family member and the promo material for these cards only show Green / blue or rainbow.
I was able to manage all 3 fans at once with OpenRGB. I did not try ASRock RGB software, but I can certainly give it a try tomorrow and get back to you.
@@50shadesofbeige88How were you able to get the card to be detected in OpenRGB? It’s not being picked up for me, even after running OpenRGB as administrator and rescanning.
Nice looking GPU, only problem i have thats been keeping me from gztting one is that i'm running a 5600G on a B550 thats limiting to pci-e 3.0 and i don't wanna change CPU's right now
That's understandable. I will say, the performance hit will be minimal on a GPU of this speed with a CPU like the 5600G. You see the larger performance deficits when using higher end CPUs like the 5800X3D.
@@50shadesofbeige88 yeah but i wonder if the 3060 would't be the better choice here since it has no performance loss or at least a lot less. But yeah ... 279 here for that version of the 6650xt and 300+ for a 3060
This GPU was in the mail today. The plan was to use it in my white Corsair "275R Airflow" build - until I saw that the 6650XT is better than my old ASUS "Dual" 2060 Super that was supposed (temporarily?) to go into my new gaming PC. Perhaps I can "mod" my old 2060 Super with some white paint (and then put that one in my Corsair). My very first ASRock GPU. 🙂 (The 2060S is a PCIe x16 card, while this 6650XT is PCIe x8; I don't know if that makes for a big difference? --not much, it seems, on average some 5 FPS?)
The 6650XT has 8x Gen 4 lanes and the 2060S has 16x gen 3 lanes. The throughput is the same assuming you're using a platform that supports PCIE 4. If not, you're correct the difference is negligible in most cases. Maybe 5 or 10 FPS here and there. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
@@50shadesofbeige88 The 2060S is PCIe Gen 3? I missed that... The ASRock 6650XT has RGB fans, which make the card at least 15% faster, as every serious gamer knows. 🤭
Hi Memoryfu! No, higher MHz doesn't equal better materials. The Gaming X card will be of similar quality to the Steel Legend. You're paying a little extra for the Steel Legend because it's all-white and has translucent RGB fans. Aside from that, I'd say the cards are of comparable build quality and features. I wouldn't worry too much about the clock speeds. AMD pretty much dialed these cards in already. I'd be willing to bet if you use auto-oc feature, the two cards would run at nearly identical speeds (+/- 5%). I hope this helps!
I regret buying the Phantom Gaming one at March at the same price... I'm rushing because I'm kinda afraid the market will go high again by the end of the year 😭
it's cost around 250 USD in my place, the other brands like sapphire, Powercolor, msi etc It's take around 280-300 usd,, Because its price too low than average, I'm too sceptic and curious, how good is this GPU,, Thanks 🙏
You will be fine. Just make sure your power supply has the correct PCIE power connector. If you do upgrade your CPU down the line, I would highly recommend going with a 650W PSU, just so your PSU can run nice and cool and efficient.

6700XT is a great card! Budget King! 👑

Agreed. They definitely charge a few extra bucks for the color and the nice fans, but it's worth it. Its by far the best looking 66xx card.
@@50shadesofbeige88Could you tell me what temperature mostly do this gpu has when you play game on medium setting
@KerjaRodi-lz1zw It never went above 80C. It's a cool and quiet GPU under normal loads.
Nice crispy 1440p video quality is appreciated!
Can the RGB lights on this card be turned-off?
Thank you. I'm working on improving my production quality.
I need your honest opinion is it worth getting the steel legend 16gb or the Acer BiFrost Intel arc A770 16gb?

@tomweyts I would definitely take the 3060 at that price.

@ibizenco Yes I verified its gen 3. However this isn't terribly important since the PCIE interface is rarely, if ever the bottleneck.
this is a great video
Thank you!
I have a 5500 XT but want to buy this card, is it worth it? Iam pretty noob intro pc parts so i need some help 😅
Hi bro,Which one is more suitable to buy, this or msi 6650xt gaming x? MSI is 10 euros cheaper and has higher mhz, does it mean better materials?

Thanks for watching! I've got more coming soon.

I hear ya. I paid $900 for my 3070 in 2020 and I paid $750 for an open box 4070ti about a week after it came out. I regret both.
That's a pretty good looking card!
I know! I was pleasantly surprised by the LEDs too. They were easy to program with OpenRGB and very bright.
So weird. You should check your subscribers. I somehow got unsubbed between Friday live stream and this morning.
Where at can I buy this GPU
what is your PSU wattage recommendation for this card ?
I would go with 650W for most CPU pairings along with this GPU. 500W BARE minimum.

That is pretty good. It has all the premium features except for a dual BIOS switch, but.thats no big deal. Thanks for watching!
Is a 500 watt power supply enough for it?
Generally speaking, yes. Depends on what CPU you have and how good of a power supply it is. What CPU are you using?

can you change the rgb?
Yes, but only with AsRock RGB software. I'll make a short about it tomorrow.

aww i thought the steel legend logo is using rgb lights but its just a sticker
Me too! That's why I made a point to mention it. 😂 it's still a pretty nice GPU.
