awesome video!! so excited to revisit the comic through this series!! <3 i adore the archie comics!

I know there's a few dubs of this that already exist... but we're currently working on a new one with our team! issue one currently being edited and will be posted on our sister channel, Timeless Dubs. This was helpful on some research in things to include about those easter eggs in later issues probably wouldn't have thought of other wise.

i still remember when i was in my megaman phase i was pretty much inhaling these comics, i couldnt get enough of them, they always made me hyped to play the actual megaman games later it still breaks my heart whenever i remember that they were cancelled, just imagine what ian could have done with the x,z,zx and legends saga, it could have been great...

The Archie comics are actually what got me into Mega Man in the first place!

I've read only the first four issues of this series, and it's really good. I also can't wait for the new Mega Man comic series coming out next year.

I found archie Megaman pretty late, which is surprising since I'm a huge Megaman fan. The series felt like a true love letter to fans by people who genuinely cared about the franchise.

I usually miss the latest issue and comics and had no way to read them so I usually visit your channel after school to play catch up I'm now 22 and still occasionally watch your videos if I don't have the comics available and still immensely enjoy them so again thank you!

Is it weird that sonic's "phantom rider" getup is giving me batman vibes?

I've never been much of a gamer, but a dear friend of mine got me into these comics and I found them much more engaging than I initially expected going in. I agree that parts of Rock's emotional journey in this first arc felt a little rushed; imo later arcs would deliver angsty moments like that with more skill and even more impact. Looking forward to hearing what you'll have to say about the rest of the series going forward!

I really like visual aesthetic in 1st comic. It's very close to original art as it can be and great to look at. It's great as starting point and takes into account various details about willy and Light past and their whole philosophy. Of course if we comics just show as how Megaman go through levels it will be boring (it's not a game that we a taking action after all), so seeing Robot Master interaction and some meta plot between levels is interesting spin for main series. I forgot about this creepy image of Willy in 11:07. It's excellent. 17:30 I think they are reference to Forgotten World characters from Capcom.

Tango being comfortable with Proto Man is a reference to the Megaman Megamix/Gigamix Manga by Hitoshi Ariga.

Worth mentioning, The Main cover art of this issue is based on the Character Select Screen of Marvel vs Capcom 1.

I wonder if you heard about UDON Entertainment getting the comic book rights to Mega Man recently. Wonder if they either continue the Archie storyline or reboot it like IDW did for Sonic.

Very funny how well this was timed with the announcement of the new Udon series. I loved Archie Mega Man a lot so I’m hoping those ones will be just as good.

Honestly, I think they still could had used the Iron Queen. Archie Comics could've easily written off the first appearance Iron Queen as an imposter double, considering that during that time, she was considered a "badger".

This issue was very great and Sonic is the Phantom Rider. And can I say that costume is literally cool. It reminds me of a Power Ranger and I hope they can use this costume in the games in the future. And I literally smiled from ear to ear when I saw Surge smile feeling and being like a hero, since I want her to feel good about herself. Maybe something like this could help her change her mind to come to the light and be a hero. That made my day! For Lanolin the shock on her face says it enough. She was so absorbed about catching this Phantom rider and upholding the rules to the point that she's forgetting about every other racers safety. And thank goodness for Tangle and her tail and Whisper's sharp shooting. And Jewel knows that something is up with Duo. I just hope in this arc Lanolin learns a lesson about friendship And to apologize to Sonic, Whisper, Silver, Tangle Amy, and Tails and practically everyone she might have gotten angry or offended. And maybe I want Lanolin to step down from her leadership role and get it to Tangle or Whisper since those two both have more experience than her and one of them was one of the original members of the Diamond Cutters. And also Duo getting a out in the public and for Tangle and Whisper to capture him. And also what happened to Belle?! Who would want to capture and dismantle her. I hope she can tell a lot of answers in the next issue. Because so far this comic run is going pretty good and cool. I can't wait to see the Phantom Rider to be the winner and expose the bad guys in the process.

I do not trust that Phantom rider suit Sonic is using. It's got to be part of secret plan Eggman has up his sleeve to use Sonic to do his dirty work. He can't be trusted and the heroes need to stop working with him. If the public finds out they'll deem Sonic a traitor for working with the enemy. Don't really care much about the race or the stupid diamond cutters or Babylon rogues or surge and kit, But I already know why Belle was locked up thanks early panels for 71 being released. The it was Clutch and the clean sweep guards who did it. He's gonna pay. I wish Evan would stop dragging out Mimic's disguise thing, just to the reveal and betrayal already! I want Lanolin get her comupace for being a bad leader and hero. Jewel is definitely getting suspicious

Might be a good idea for Sonic to pass along the Phantom Rider persona to someone else before things get too heated with the Race. With the way everybody was cheering for Surge and Kit, finding that it was Sonic might set them off. Although if it’s nearly anyone else, the good will Surge and Kit have built up would be preserved. Maybe they could trick Mimic or Clutch into the role and reveal their other deceptions.
