I really like that Frankenstein look for Dr.Starline. Honestly if they do bring him back into the comics use that design for him. So that he had to patch himself up back together after falling into that pit and rocks closing it up. Also I do like Rough and Tumble proto design and kind of wished they kept how tumbles tail look from the proto instead of him just now having one.
If there's one thing Artbooks are good for, it is about preserving the styles, skills, and legacies of artists who made the comics as prolific and infuential as they are now. Even if the artist is no longer with us, there life's work and contributions will live on. I would get this book not just for that idea alone, but also to learn how to make fancomics myself. Even if mainstream comics are eroding faster than a cliffside over the roaring oceans, at least the methods will live on. All in all, I actually encourage people to support IDW as much as possible....at least so it can work on a satisfying conclusion, so as to be more complete than its predecessor
I find comic books so fascinating. Not just the stories, but mostly the art from a human hand. I still do practice when drawing characters, but just think they put endless time to make these covers and issues look so good and this one here made it all clear. They did an awesome job with this Series👍
