Concert celebrating the 150th birthday of Enrico Caruso
I have received an e-mail from Michael Vaccaro, tenor and founder of OPERA CLASSICA EUROPA.
My Opera Company will be the only Opera in the world honouring Enrico Caruso on his 150th Birthday.
In all I will present at least 10 Concerts in honor of Enrico Caruso in 2023.
Including the Alte Oper Frankfurt.
The first concert will be on the 25th of February in the Kurhaus Bad Schwalbach.
The great Grandson of Enrico Caruso will come from Italy to be present at the concert.

The recording was made on the first of February 1904 in New York. The record player - the Victrola - is from 1918. "Recondita armonia" is the first romanza in the opera Tosca (1900) by Giacomo Puccini. This was requested by a CZcams user. Recorded on Sunday, 7th of November 1909. Caruso created the role of Don José in the Grand Opera House in San Francisco a few hours before the 1906 earthquake - on Wednesday, April 18, 1906. This is the first song Caruso recorded in Neapolitan, his native dialect. It is about a poor, homesick Italian immigrant. Caruso made the song a hit in Amerika.     It is a pity that the recording quality, hi fidelity, was not invented in time to capture what it was like to hear Caruso sing live. No one alive has ever heard Caruso sing. And we are the poorer for this. I am glad that at least primitive recording methods have allowed us an insight into his voice quality.
