2611Whr seems like a lot-but it's only 217Ahr, at 12V. Two 6V Trojan golf cart batteries do the same job (225Ahr @ 12V) on our boat. The Yoshino weighs less (the Trojans are 28Kg each), and is definitely portable, which the Trojans are not. And the Yoshino can be discharged to 10%, I am guessing, whereas we never discharge the Trojans below 50% (and usually not below 70%).Exciting new tech, and an excellent review, Scott. Thanks.

If they where not so expensive it would be great. I would tour one around the country for them. They are so expensive because you have to have such a big truck for it.

Can someone explain the correlation between heat and amperage? Specifically, why does increase in heat cause breakers or fuses to trip? I understand that increase in heat is an increase in resistance... But what does that have to do with amperage? For example, a 200a fuse doesn't trip when cold, but then you add heat to the circuit and then it does? Why?

Great video, except that you misassembled the black button that should push against the pressure adjustment screw. As you have assembled it, the pressure set-screw only pushes against air, preventing any adjustment. BTW, per the comment below, I didn't remove that set -screw when I repaired mine. No problem.

I would probably add vents and a small fan to keep your electronics from overheating and shortening their lifespan and more importantly a fire hazard!

My Lance has a shutoff under the seat near battery which disconnects the power but I like the idea of a combiner would be easier to hook up

I’ve had these tires on my last three trucks. They were great! I do a lot of hunting in the fall and I’m always off-road and a lot of mud. They also do great in the snow. Only downfall is the rain starts after about 25,000 miles. But that’s usually just a takeoff. My back wheels will slide a little bit.other than that, great tire for the price!

What about towing through sand. Would that get onto the compressor?

Useless data without comparison with rotomolded coolers. My Yeti Roadie 24 costs 3 times less. For these additional 350eur I can buy 350kg of ice. Considering I'm using my cooler 2 times in a month at the summer and maybe ones at spring and autumn.. well. I usually put a big Yeti Ice at the bottom and then 2kg of fresh ice to fill the space between food and drinks. The price difference gives me 14 years! Ok maybe I decide to take cooler with me at winter, or puting into it 3 kg of ice someday. With all these exceptions, the price difference will last me over 10years.

Those circuit breakers are notoriously unreliable, in Australia we have a lot of corrugated dirt roads that punish anything on the car, those circuit breakers don't last on these types of roads, either MRBF as you found out or Megafuses are the go 👍👍

This is a very nicely designed camper, specifically for long-term use. It seems like compared to RVs in a similar price bracket these truck campers are leaps and bounds ahead in quality and convenience.

Damn wish nucamp came to australia. I'd love to travel around with this on my Ute (ute might not be big enough though...................)

I have both too, the Solix F1200 & F2000 most time for home use for time low sun or evening, computer, TV (F2000) and coffee, airfryer (F1200 in the kitchen) Have 2600 Kw solar panels on the roof, how cheap using elektricity

Great video. I had same problem with my DC2DC breaker tripping in engine compartment, so I switched to ANL. I’m getting ready for my first road trip with the new DC2DC.

To fight the ticket go to the court and ask to proceed as a poor person. Ticket is $400 that entitles to the appointment of an attorney. Ask to release on personal reconnaissance or any other program that assist homeless people stay out of jail. State that you can not afford bail and that you are not a treat to society.
