"The Last of Us" Watch (from a Microbrand!) Draken Aoraki - Vector
zhlédnutí 972Před 2 měsíci
I am a huge fan of HBO's show, "The Last of Us" and the microbrand, Draken watches, made a model called the Aoraki which closely resembles Joe's watch from the television adaptation of the Sony Playstation game. I have owned this watch for quite some time, and it is one of my favorite field watches and hopefully after the video you can see the similarities to the watch from the Show. Anonymous ...

I have been interested in swivel lug watches for years, and I finally got my hands on the Glycine F104 GL0129. It's the 40mm and smaller version of the original 48mm F104. They are discontinued now, but I answer the questions for you: What is a swivel lug watch? And how does it war? Is the Glycine F104 right for you? A Field Watch with Italian Flair - echo/neutra Averau Moonphase
zhlédnutí 2,7KPřed 4 měsíci
The echo/neutra Averau Moonphase is a watch I have owned for about a year. You could consider this a "long-ish" term review of a really well made, well spec'd field watch. The build quality is superior than most microbrand watches I have encountered, and the moonphase complication and the way it is displayed is pretty awesome. I hope you enjoy learning about this cool Italian brand! Follow me o...

I have spent almost 10yrs collecting vintage citizen watches. Although I am no professional, I have learned a few things over the years. Iconic, reasonably priced, and still perform well (most) for vintage watches. Check out the three in my collection currentl...

This is a very long term review of one of the rarest Seikos that I own, the Seiko Nano Universe SCVE045. This watch was limited to a numbered run of 300. There are other variants out there, but this is the most limited of them all. I believe these were released in 2017 and was a JDM model. but tjeu are becoming more rare by the day. I really like that Citizen puts long silicone bracelets on their diving watches, because I have a wide wrist and I have a problem when I buy a watch that doesn't have a bracelet long enough for my wide wrist. Citizen, congratulations on that solution. Well done.💪💪💪
Thanks man!!
Does it hack? I mean i know u said in the video it hacks but i saw that it was still ticking after u pulled the crown ..
I don’t have the watch anymore.🤔
@@threehandhunter hahah ok ok .. would u prefer this one or the kuroshio 64 they are kinda similar in specs and price ..
The Delugs strap actually looks better your wrist than the OEM one.
Thank you!🙏
Nice review,is this BALL ENGINEER MASTER II SKINDIVER DM2108A-P-BK is still available or discontinued already?
This review brings back memories, This was my first watch, bought with my own money on my first stable job. This was rare even at that time in the Philippines. Wore it for so long, one issue in my case was, it tend to run "fast", had to adjust it back like 10 to 15 minutes back every now and then. One thing thing for sure, this watch kept me "ahead of time" hehehe
What an awesome story 👍👍
8:45 slight dome I think
Slight dome!
3:31 flat or domed sapphire?
Domed 👍
Very interesting watch.
It really is!
Check out Eliot Brown. I think they make better and more durable watches. Since you served in the Roman army Marine Corps, I can understand why you like Sangin.
Ha! I have been wanting to check out Elliot Brown!
Dont know why you dont have more subscribers, I like your review style.
Thank you! Probably since I only put out one a month? But I really appreciate the kind compliment! 👍👍
These watches look great. Where are the cases made?
That is a great question. You’d have to ask Sangin!
Dude, get real! Yall CZcams said some crazy sh>t... Ain't nobody looking across a room and saying that's a "VERO" watch! Plus, listing too, you talk you say it like no other watch. But you're a×× "have called out about five other watches.
Sangin professional BLACK pvd bought 2024JAN before my training at Fort Knox. Solid piece.
Nice choice!
@@threehandhuntermuch appreciated
What does "Full Kit" mean?
Everything you’d get when you buy a watch originally. Box, strap, warranty card, hang tags, etx
I kind of like the hemorrhoid crown at 6 😂
😂 okay…that’s funny
The bezel, uni or bi directional? can you guys explain? Thank!
I don’t own it anymore, not 💯 sure
I thought the original panerai watchmakers gonna make their watches in Italy. But seems like they have sold their souls to the Swiss as well...
Information is limited about the new owners…but you right
I'd gladly take the shirt too, doubt about the watch though. You may love the style and the whole weird design elements, still doesn't ring a bell for me. Overengineered and quirky for no specific reason i'd say. Plus this crown is bit of a nightmare to operate. Straps too. Btw, not exactly the Italian style i know. Oh, and i lived there, in Milan... PS Not trying to bash you, by any means, just not for me. Did i tell you i have a 6,5" wrist too... 😉
Yeah, not for everyone. For sure. And no offense taken. The point here is there are so many cool watches out there, you don’t have to go buy the latest and greatest releases
I was sold as soon as I saw the crown/lug combo at 6!
So cool! I’d really like to get the chronograph…Mike, enjoy this one! And thank you!🙏
I like this brand a lot. I have an earlier Militare and a Panerai 459. There is an inexpensive watch from Dificiano with the crown at 6. I also recall a Swiss brand that had the crown at 6. It was a beautiful piece priced around $7K. I just can't recall the name. I think it started with a Z. If anyone knows of this watch, I'd like to know. Thanks.
That is interesting to know! I will look into Dificiano! Much appreciated 👍
@@threehandhunter I remembered the name of the watch brand. It is ZRC.
I have the Anonimo Dino Zei San Marco…. Who needs a Panerai? 😉
💥 right?
You are a wonderful story teller.... I iove watches too. especially the ones hiding behind a story
Thank you! Very kind compliment 🙏
They should have put marks all around the bezel, even if it isn't like the original it adds functionality and differentiates it from a Submariner clone which is desperately needs. The titanium was an unnecessary upgrade. If they had used stainless steel it would have been a better watch for it and cost less. A watch of that size doesn't need titanium, too light and it'll feel cheap while costing more.
I hear you about the hash marks! Personally I’ve really been enjoying titanium. I have a few now and love the weight
I could not disagree more - the Titanium is a wonderful upgrade - they would have charged the same if it was in steel and given you less - and you dont mention the wonderful Miyota 9000 series movement which runs to near chronometer accuracy at plus 2 seconds a day
I appreciate the less text that there is on my 007 K
Great point 👍
Good thinking! Muji make a lot of useful storage in acrylic & plastic similar to what you have in the video. I’ve been glueing up cardboard inserts as organisers for the drawers. Anything’s better than strap chaos!
Strap chaos is my life!! 😂
I can’t justify Delugs price for rubber straps. So thank god for the Aliexpress-Chinese copying Delugs-chineses straps.
Didn’t know they made them too! Nice
Nice review of a great watch. I have the same model, also in black dial, and I never see anyone else wearing one. I can't believe these were discontinued - they are fantastic watches!
Really cool watch! Wish it was brushed! Then it would be really one of my favorites
I dont know about that story of that watch he found sounds like a fish story lol. Good way to sell some wathes though
Well, it’s in Citizens museum. So…. 🤷♂️
That would make it official then
great video & nice work!!!
🙏 thank you!

Thanks for the great review, used it to set my Professional. Love this watch!!
Awesome! What a great duty watch!
I’ve been running my Professional on a bracelet since I got it, well I finally tried out the ZA it came with and I gotta say… I think I like it better.
Do you use the professional in the field or for work? I’d think the ZA would really shine then
@@threehandhunter at work, I’m out of the military
Makes it a lot easier to get to the straps if you register watch with Tissot (:
Great to know!
I have the Everest Expedition which was well worth the 6 month wait until Eddie had it in stock. I would recommend Time Factors watches for something a little different and well made.
💯 agree with you 👍
How is the bezel action good in any way 😂. It’s too easy to turn and has massive back play. You can literally wiggle the bezel back and forth
I’ve had worse titanium experiences!
Great video! That date quick set feature is plenty cool
Thanks man, yeah one of those really neat features Seiko did back in the day 👍
Hello ! I just discovered your video, very well done, well done! I also discovered the Métris which I found very beautiful. Since there is no retailer nearby, based on your experience, is this model compatible with a wrist of 15cm in circumference with the watch securely attached? Thanks for your feedback.
Thank you! You have a small wrist at 15cm, so for me I’d think it was too big. My wrist is closer to 18cm and fits perfectly.
👍
Thanks for this amazing video I would like to ask you a question, why there is some models of khaki H77615333 with title (Swiss made ) near the no 6 ,and other has no ? Is it related to be real vs fake one ? Because on the official website of Hamilton , this watch has no title ( Swiss made )on its face 🤔
Wow, that is a great question. And I wasn’t aware of any fakes. I guess the good news is the caseback is see through and you can clearly see the ETA movement. That’s a plus!
Thank you.🙂👍🏻
My pleasure, sir!
Great video! I have the blue Miyako and I want the gray one but the wait is tooooooo long!
Yes! Crazy right? Second hand may be the way to go 👍
the PRX does have half links but I plan to sell mine anyway, get the Seiko PRX and pocket the difference for a future watch! ;-)

Currently available at Amazon (Germany) for 620€ (May 2024). Sold & shipped directly from Amazon. Really surprised to find it there. Price is for the black version. The blue & orange one are also listed but a bit more expensive. Really cool piece & and also great value for a swiss made ETA 2824 powered diver. Thanks for the informative video.
That is not a bad price at all! I’m going to look now!
Sucks they don't make the oem straps for the 35mm. Ive been looking for a waffle pattern strap for the 35mm everywhere but it seems like nobody makes them
I’m not sure why, you’d think that 35mm is really popular
Actually the difference between A and B was the A was lumed and the B was not lumed. The B variants are super rare. And the issue numbers were apparently 16,000 not 1600. I love my originals but rarely wear them. The Benrus is a great re issue other than the ghost date. The type 2 was done right as it does not have a ghost date. The type 2 was a 500 piece run. Also, the msrp is way too high, find a used one and save the $. Great video!
Thank you! 16000? Oy vey!
@@threehandhunter FYI: Benrus Type Is and IIs were produced for nearly a decade, from 1972 to 1980. In all, there were a little over 9,000 Type II Class As produced, along with roughly 6000 Type I Class As and about 1000 Type II Class Bs. There also exist a very small number of “sterile” Type Is - these watches don’t have any of the military stamped markings on the caseback and instead have a single engraved serial number. And as mentioned there is also an unlumed version of the Type II, designated Class B, which does not have any lume on the dial or hands - they were used in locations containing delicate instruments that might be sensitive to even the small amounts of tritium contained in the lume (like on nuclear-powered submarines). Still a small amount of originals made it out to the second market so still a relatively small amount. Years ago you could find good examples for around 1k-2k; now the prices are around 5k-9k…😳. The originals were WR to 1200 feet or 365 meters. All had fixed bars. The weak point was the crown, since the watch was serviced from the front the stem was a two piece which on many original versions now will need to be replaced/repaired. For price point the steel navigator from marathon is a good option as the limited edition Benrus is 1500 for the type 2 which is all they have left. They did just come out with a type 1, various colors without the military marking on the case back. Anyway hope this helps. I collect military watches and the type1/2’s hold a special place.
How does a cheaper Casio hit the second marks better than Seiko
Good question!
Your thought process is chaotic. Can't follow what you want to say, there is no order at all. Cheers
Thanks
